"I don't know!" Rosalie exclaimed bitterly. "I don't know if you're guilty of that or not, but when he was lying unconscious on the bed at that time, you forced me to give up on him! That's the truth!"

A sharp pain suddenly pierced through Theodore's stomach.

He was still gripping the test results of his check-up. Compared to the pain in his heart, the pain in his stomach was nothing.

Theodore didn't want to explain any further. He felt exhausted.

Rosalie slapped Theodore hard. This time, she slapped his other cheek.

"Theodore Spencer, you're shameless!"

He made her sound as though she was desperate to get married to another man!

Even though her marriage with Sebastian was a farce, too many things had happened, causing things to turn out the way they were now.

Theodore could have shaken her off easily, but he didn't do so. He was worried about hurting her.

As the two of them struggled with each other, Theodore's test report fell on the ground and landed right next to Rosalie's feet.

Theodore bent down to pick up the results.

Rosalie saw the test results on the floor and thought that it belonged to Aurora.

"How is Aurora?" she asked.

"None of your business."

Theodore was about to keep the test results when Rosalie glanced at the words on the report. Instead of seeing Aurora's name on it, she saw Theodore's name and his age.

Uneasiness crept up her chest. Before Theodore had a chance to put the test results away, she snatched it.
