Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1848

Seth kept listening to Waverly's explanation. He vaguely felt that there was something going on that he didn't know about, but was still deeply convinced. Waverly must have her reasons, and they must be very important to her. Therefore, even though his gaze never left them, his legs remained in place.

Meanwhile, Waverly was actually keeping her eyes on the phone. She couldn't stop until the keychain cracked. "Do you still want me to kneel down and beg you?"

"Waverly..." Frowning, Franklin suddenly felt a little embarrassed. He wanted to get something back, so if he didn't give a satisfactory answer, he would be in a horrible position, too. It would be a living hell.

Did she really not have it?

Franklin's thoughts were still in chaos. Waverly insistently grabbed his arm, not giving him any time to think.

"What exactly is it you want? Can you describe it to me? Is it something I can help you with? Stop backing me into a corner, Franklin. If I know exactly what you want and what it looks like, I can make one for you. It's better than being involved with you like this, isn't it? You know that I am a person who values my relationships, so I won't joke around when it comes to the people I care about! Tell me. Say something! What exactly do you want?" she demanded.

She deliberately tugged at his hand and shook it violently. Waverly was even pushing and hitting him. Those who weren't in the know would think that they were a quarreling couple. Not to mention, she was the one getting angry, so when a few people caught notice, they only stopped for a moment before leaving. Franklin didn't feel suspicious of it. At most, he would subconsciously lower his head or turn away to avoid their gazes in order to protect himself.

Franklin was dizzy from Waverly shoving him and was also very upset. He

subconsciously swung his hand and said, "Enough! If you have something to say-

Before he could tell her to say it properly, there was a sudden bang, followed by a subtle cracking sound. He was shocked, thinking that something had been smashed. Franklin subconsciously turned around.

At that moment, Waverly saw her phone fall to the ground as expected. She let out a shriek. "My phone!"

She bent over as if she was going to pick it up. As soon as she looked downward, she saw that the leather strap of the keychain, which had been treated with a debonding liquid, had naturally snapped because of how she had been shaking it around earlier as well as the heavy impact that just occurred. The chip was still stuck halfway inside and had not fallen out yet. The circumstances were more perfect than she had imagined. Thus, as she had her hand reached out in mid-air, she deliberately stopped.

"What is this thing?"

The light was shining down on it. Aside from the way the transparent acrylic of the keychain was glistening, the chip on the SIM card was shining as well. Her confused exclamation successfully drew all of Franklin's attention. Therefore, before she could touch the phone, Franklin had already grabbed all of it in excitement. He even quickly took the important SIM card out from the strap. With a flip of his hand, he saw a familiar, invisible set of embossing inside the strap.

The embossing was a set of three wavy lines. It was as if a pattern had been stamped into the leather. However, only he knew that the markings were a commonly used code name of Stefan, which Franklin had often seen on him.

It belonged to Stefan.

So, it was actually there?

With anticipation in his eyes, Franklin gripped the keychain. He had really found it! Pretending to be ignorant, Waverly also took a step forward.

"Why did you take my phone? I have a lot of private accounts on it. Even if you want my phone, you have to let me unlink my bank card and delete my personal information!" she stated.

She reached out but her wrist was grabbed by Franklin. He asked, "Where did you get this?"

He pointed at the keychain hung on her phone. His eyes were

shimmering, but his expression was serious. After all, he had some understanding of Waverly, so he did not find it strange that she had decorated her phone with all kinds of things, nor did he doubt her. He only subconsciously wanted to confirm it.

She liked cute things like that. It wasn't just her phone. She also had a cute rabbit keychain hanging on her bag.

From what he remembered, she did indeed like things like that. She would hang it on her keys, bags, and her phone.

Pretending not to know, Waverly replied, "Obviously, I bought it! Where else could it have come from?"

She immediately felt a tight force around her hand. He insisted, "Think about it again. Think about it and tell me. If you bought it, how could there be something hidden inside?"

"Huh?"

Frowning, Waverly grunted. "It hurts. What are you doing? What do you mean by something hidden inside? It's not like I-"

After another glance, Waverly seemed to have realized something and said, "Is this what you were looking for?"noveldrama

She fixed her eyes on him and frowned as if she was trying hard to recall something.

Eventually, she murmured, "I have so

In

many keychains. There are boxes and boxes full of them. How can I remember where I got them all? Either Dbought them, or I got them as a gift from my friends. As for this one... I can't remember where I got it. 1 thought it looked nicé? so I hung it up on my phone. I put some of my own photos in it, too. I'm pretty sure I've been using it for a long time now."

She appeared to be immersed in thought. Waverly reached out and wanted to get

it. "Hey... Let me have a look."

The moment she tried to grab it, Franklin tightly clenched the phone in his hand and untied all the keychains on her phone before giving it back to her.

"I'll get someone to drop the lawsuit. You can get ready to go pick Wyatt up."

As soon as he finished speaking, Franklin was about to turn around and leave. Waverly grabbed him again and said, "Hey, don't go! Tell me what's going on. At least let me see what you took!"

The two of them tugged and pulled until Franklin pushed Waverly forcefully. Before he could say a word, he heard a ripping sound. Then, he saw that Waverly's clothes had been torn open from the shoulder area. She took a few steps back with her hand on her collar and shouted.

"Ah!"

It had happened so abruptly that Franklin was also shocked. He even subconsciously looked at his own hand. He was a little confused as to how that had happened.

Seth noticed the situation. When he saw that Waverly's hand indicated that she was about to step forward, he ran over swiftly.

"Are you okay, Waverly?"

When he did that, Franklin became even more flustered. He turned around, pulled down the brim of his cap, and quickly ran away.

Seth ran over, huffing and puffing. He looked at Franklin before turning to Waverly. With a grave expression, he questioned, "D-Did I mess up, Waverly?" Waverly shook her head and looked at him. She did not dare to show any joy on her face and just continued with her act.

"He snatched my phone away and told us to wait to pick up Wyatt. You should ask the lawyer if anything new has happened. He said that he would drop the lawsuit and that he wanted us to wait before going to get Wyatt. Tell them to pay attention to any news and inform us as soon as possible," she instructed.
