Chapter 31 Become Enemies
Chapter 31 Become Enemies
Pretend to be nice?
Spencer looked at her with sharp eyes.
“What are you looking at me for? Are you going to give up what you are going to do because of a word
from me?” Aleena said unflinchingly, “this is not the Spencer I know.”
Spencer pressed his lips.
“But Spencer.” Aleena showed a sarcastic smile, “I wonder if you remember I have lost three children
because of you, they were also your children. You had no compassion for your own children then. Why
do you hesitate now?”
“Come on, how do you want to abort it? Give me an oxytocin? Or beat me? Or do you just stab me in
the stomach? Or do I have to jump off a building again?” Said Aleena faintly, as if discussing with him
what to eat tonight.
Spencer was flustered.
This was the third time he had been flustered.
The first was the news that she had jumped off the building to her death, the second the news that she
had been kidnapped.
Aleena was clam looking at his eyes, but he only wanted to escape.
He felt those eyes would see through him.
Spencer escaped anyway.
He dared not to look at her, dared not speak with her. He asked her to take a rest and then left.
He began to feel frightened by her strangeness.
Aleena looked at the ward door slowly closing, her expression was clam and could not be seen her
emotion.
Anyway, she did not care about anything now.
Live as she can, and it didn't matter if she died.
She thought.
Lying on the bed, Aleena gently stroked her bulging belly with her right hand again and again.
...
Rosalie was pushing the wheelchair angrily out of the company building, alone.
After walking for a long time, she suddenly felt resistance in her wheelchair. Looking back in panic, she
saw a woman dressed in all black and wearing a black face mask holding the handlebars of her
wheelchair.
Rosalie wanted to scream subconsciously, but the woman covered her mouth and said, “It's me,
Daphne.”
Rosalie felt relaxed, pushed away her hand, “It is scary. Why are you dressed like this?”
“Because....I come to kill you.” Daphne curled her lips and pushed her to walk. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
Flurried, Rosalie looked at Daphne pushing her up to a steep slope.
“What do you want?!” Rosalie said angrily, “I did not provoke you!”
“But you make me sick. What shall I do?” Daphne said, “Is your relationship with Spencer going to
collapse?”
Rosalie looked at her in surprise, “It was you?!”
“Well, it was me.” she said, “How does it feel to be betrayed by someone close to you?”
“Why did you do it?! I treat you well!” Rosalie looked at the sloping hillside in front of her and clutched
her hand in fear. “Didn't I help you deal with Aleena? You can live a good life together with Travis! Why
do you want to deal with me?”
“There is no why.” Said Daphne, “There is one more thing, but I don't think you will ever know it.”
“Rosalie, you are really stupid,” said Daphne with a low smile.
Rosalie was stunned, “What are you talking about?”
Daphne shrugged her shoulders, “I want to make sure the path for me and Travis is smooth. I'd better
get rid of the people who are in the way.”
“I will not prevent you from being with Travis, as long as you are not interested in Spencer.” Rosalie
said, “You and Travis can do whatever you want and go wherever you want. I won't interfere.”
“But how can I let you go after you know what I've done?” Said Daphne, “In fact, a long, long time ago,
I have been unhappy with you.”
“I'm tired of seeing one trick. Think of me as killing you for Spencer, if you like.” Daphne nodded.
“On what grounds?” Rosalie said, “What's the matter with Spencer?”
“Do you think you still are the nice girl in his heart if he knows what you did to Aleena?
Rosalie was stunned.
But she was panic.
From the way Spencer was reacting these days, she could really feel the alienation from her.
It was because of Aleena.
She didn't wamt to admit it, but it seemed to him that Aleena was more important now.
“Is that why you want me to...” Rosalie frowned. “Are you crazy? It won't do you any good. Spencer will
look into it, and you'll end up in jail.”
“I want no goods.” Daphne answered, “As long as you disappear into this world, it will be fine. Beside...”
Daphne smiled, “I have been preparing to emigrate, I think the hands of Spencer can't stretch abroad?”
The next second, without warning, Daphne let go of her hand and the wheelchair instantly rushed down
the hill.
Rosalie closed her eyes in fear.
But the expected pain never came.
Rosalie opened her eyes.
