Guilt is the weapon
“Gama, you don’t understand.” Emily said with a resigned expression.
Gama was still in pain. The pungent smell of his roasted flesh permeating every corner of the room.
It was unlike any pain he had felt before. The only pain greater than Nimalaya’s flame is the hurt in his heart for her departure. He really loves her so much.
He had been confident that he would go back with her once they met, but the reality that Nimalaya is now with her fated one was starting to sink in.
He had just tasted what Nimalaya’s flame felt like and didn’t want a battle of prowess with her. It won’t do him any good to fight when he wants to have her heart.
Using extreme force will only put him at the risk of losing her forever. Before he gets to the point where he would use all the ability he possessed to keep her to himself, Gama wanted to explore the gentle part first.
Emily’s reaction had made it clear that Nimalaya felt something for him, and he wanted to know how far that goes.
He suddenly took in a deep breath and stared at the formidable powerhouse in front of him. He wouldn’t want to have the demon as an enemy.
“Then make me understand. You cared for me like a sibling? Cause I wouldn’t fuck a family….” He ridiculed Emily who could only let out a sigh.
“Heal first.” She said, their eyes holding one another for a brief moment before Gama took the blood that was being offered and tentatively sucked on her wrist, while concentrating the essence in her blood towards his wound, which sizzled and began to close up.
He moaned in pleasure, his beautiful soft lips parting sensually as his tongue reached out to lick the spot he had drew blood from, all the while Emily made sure to stray her mind with the image of her mate.
She pictured Joel’s handsome face and gorgeous smile. These imaginations enabled her to endure Gama’s seduction.
Once he was healed up, Gama decided to probe her, knowing that Emily had just learned normal human emotions and reasoning during her time on earth in a human’s body. She wouldn’t be too guarded with her words towards Gama and would speak the truth of how she and Nimalaya felt towards him.
He patiently listens to Emily.
Apparently, they just appreciated him because he was keen on letting her find her mate during the time they just knew each other.
Emily said although it was disappointing they couldn’t find their mate, Gama’s reliance moved them a lot and if they would settle for someone, it would be one that had their back when they needed it.
His care for Nimalaya. How he let her rant to him and cheer her on that she shouldn’t give up.
Gama listened carefully and his heart suddenly got cautious. If what Emily said was true, then he must keep the fact that he had never wished for her to find their stupid mate at any moment in his life.
He had killed demons Nimalaya tried to form a connection with to make sure that she would keep coming back to him.
If this fact was put in the open, then the little affection Nimalaya and her demon harbor towards him will be lost.
At the moment, he could still guilt trip his way into Nimalaya’s heart, because no matter what, it is unfair that he was left alone after many years of being there for her.
Guilt is the only weapon he had to use on Emily from now on, so he would make Nimalaya notice and fall for him.
She had no memory of the past after all, but she would feel attracted to him without knowing why.
Although her brain couldn’t remember, her body clearly would.
He just needs to find her and get close to her.
At this point, Gama realized things won’t go according to his plans. First, he needs to find Nimalaya’s whereabouts, which Emily strongly refused to share.
Gama used every verbal manipulative means he could come up with to persuade Emily, but she still didn’t give in. Not even when Gama promised to just look at Nimalaya from afar..
Eventually Gama left her house, but Emily could see the reluctance in his eyes. Although Gama himself wanted Nimalaya, Gama’s demon wanted to possess Emily but the pain from the earlier fire made it a bit compliant with Gama to take things slow.
Ever since the encounter with Gama Emily had stayed away from Nimalaya’s residence, opting to just relinquish her control of the body and let the owner be in control.
The real owner didn’t understand why she had to go and meet Nimalaya anyway, but one thing Emily didn’t relinquish is her senses.
She could sense Gama aura and quickly take over to interject any plans he had to make the real Emily take her to Nimalaya.
With this method, it became a game of push and pull. Emily couldn’t be with Nimalaya to know the progress of her relationship with Joel, while Gama kept lurking around for loopholes.
In the midst of all this, Gama was starting to learn more about the human world and ways.
He embraced his life as an A lister artist and the benefits that come with it. And that benefits include power.Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.
Gama learnt about the power of technology. The concept of hacking and many more, which he put to good use.
He had told his manager that he needed to find someone and after the man heard the same name Gama had mentioned when he first possessed the body of Chris, he was curious.
Gama lied that he met the woman named Nimalaya once and she left a deep impression on him.
He put the acting skill of his host to good use by portraying himself as a man that had fallen in love at first sight.
His manager felt it is complicated but having a woman isn’t going to affect Chris at the current point in his career hence his manager decided to get involved and help arrange someone to trace Emily and also find means to get her contact information so that a hacker could play his part.
Gama was planning to go the human means to get Nimalaya.
