Caught Between The twin CEO

Chapter 42

Sydney picked up her phone to send a text message to Jaxton while she saw three missed calls from him and so she wondered what he wanted to share with her.

“Shot! What if Paxton already told him?” She thought to herself.

“No way. I do not think he would.” She added.

Immediately, she swiped her phone, inputted her security pins and got full access to her phone. Immediately she went to the message section to see if Jaxton left a message. Typical Jaxton always left a text message for her whenever he called and could not get through to her.

He was always overprotective and cared for her at all times.

“Hey babe. Are you good? Tried calling but to no avail.” Jaxton’s text read.

Immediately, Sydney wiped up, got access to her keyboard section and began to type.

“I am good. How about babe? Sorry I missed your call. I was out of the office.” Sydney’s message read.

It views delivered on her part and so she was sure the message went through.

A minute after, her phone beeped which caught her attention. She checked and it was Jaxton.

“Alright. It’s all good. Well, meet me at Goldenies restaurant when you have lunch break.” Jaxton’s text read.

“Okay. I will be there. Bye! GTG(got to go)” Sydney uttered through the words she typed and sent to Jaxton.

“Mhmm.” Sydney whispered under her breath.

“I guess this is it. I’d break the horrible news to him at lunch today.”

Still lost in thoughts and what he just requested from his employee which he claimed he felt nothing got was Paxton. From NôvelDrama.Org.

He was seated in a black Aston office chair inside a four cornered large office with numerous thoughts roaming in his head.

He wondered if Sydney was going to fufil her promise and break up with Jaxton.

He also questioned himself if she was going to be able to handle the emotional challenges that came with such a promise but still he wanted her to go on with what she promised at all cost.

He also tried to figure out why he did what he did and most importantly, he was going to hurt his twin brother.

“May I come, sir.” An employee uttered after knocking on the door which brought Paxton back from his own world of thoughts.

“Sir the Hawaii clients already scheduled a meeting.” The employee uttered while bringing forth the already prepared and organized black padded file to him.

Paxton immediately began to scrutinize and study the document. It soon came to his knowledge he needed to go along with an employee and Sydney was the first person’s image which popped up in his head.

He smiled and thought to himself because of his idea that he would be able to spend more quality time with her in the name of business.

On the other hand, Sydney walked through and forth in her office all confused and not sure what to do. At some points, she took quick glances at her phone and then looked away.

She could not bring herself to inform Jaxton she wanted to end the relationship.

Soon, she sat on her chair and placed her elbow on her desk with her palms facing up and wide open for her to rest her chin on it. She still continued to think about her predicaments and how she would miraculously solve it.

“Goodness! What mess have I gotten myself in now? How am I supposed to walk up to Jaxton and utter to him that I want to end our relationship.”

“Shot!” She exclaimed.

“How would I tell him? Where too. I need a plan urgently.” Sydney added.

She was totally confused and scared. She was worried about Jaxton and how her would feel.

12:00pm.

It was now lunch time and Sydney was ready to meet Jaxton at Goldies restaurant as planned. Jaxton on the underhand could not wait to see her because she missed her already. Unknowningly to him, he did not know what horrible news was about to get to him.

So, Jaxton already sat on his chair inside the Glodies restaurant awaiting Sydney’s presence. He took glances at the entrance and at his phone because he began to become impatient.

“Agrh! I have to do this now..” Sydney uttered as soon as she saw herself in front of the restaurant’s entrance.

It was a see through glass and so Jaxton already saw her and signaled her to wait.

Sydney’s eye lifted from its usual position, wondering what Jaxton had planned for her. Oh

Jaxton stood up, walked towards her majestically, opened the door and stretched his hands forward for her to hold. “Come in my lady.” He uttered cutely like a gentleman in one of those Roman Romance movies.

A slight blush was plastered on Sydney’s cheeks as she took his hands and paved her way to where she sat eventually.

He pushed the seat backwards for her to enter and then forward again for him to sit. Jaxton made sure his princess was comfortable before he sat on his own chair.

“Hey. Are you good?” Jaxton romantically inquired, stretching his hands forward to reach for hers.

Soon, Sydney’s soft palms were in his possession.

All seemed to go well but definitely not for Sydney she still had not told Jaxton she wanted to break up with him because she felt guilty.

“Mhm..” Sydney uttered as she sat up adjusting her dress.

“I have something to tell you.” She added nervously.

“Go on babe. I’m all ears.” Jaxton responded.

“It’s…” she uttered but Jaxton interrupted.

He reminded her that she was safe with him and she could tell him anything, any day and at any time.

“I am really sorry but I want us to end the relationship.” The words which Sydney once found heavy to say eventually escaped from her lips leaving Jaxton shocked and disturbed.

His eyes widened in shocked and his heart beat increased…
