CEO’s Surrender: With You, I Can Never Win

Chapter 281

Chapter 281

Bryan was quick enough to catch the ashtray, or he would die.

Bryan thought that the attack was over.

It was his allusion.

When Bryan caught the ashtray, there came a remote controller,

Bryan caught the remote control. Finley pulled the desk lamp and flung it toward Brayn.

The lamp was heavy.

Finley was still weak now.

Therefore, the customed-made retro lamp smashed on the ground one meter away from the bed.

The lampshade separated from the holder, and the light bulb broke into pieces.

Finley threw all the things within her reach.

There was nothing left as weapons, so Finley shouted, “Bryan, I will kill you sooner or later! Just you wait!”

Bryan held back his laughter, nodded, and said, “Take a good rest. I will wait for you to take my life.”

Bryan felt relieved that Finley had vent her anger. Things weren’t that worse.

Bryan bent over and picked up the things from the ground. Then, he walked out of the room and told Kate to do the cleaning.

Bryan reappeared with a bowl of hot soup.

There was nobody on the bed.

Bryan put the soup on the nightstand, turned around, and heard the sound of water from the bathroom. He relaxed.

It turned out that Finley was in the bathroom.

Bryan was afraid that Finley had disappeared again.

In fear that Finley would run away, Bryan waited at the door of the bathroom.

More than half an hour later, Bryan heard no sound of running water from the bathroom, and Finley didn’t appear.

Bryan lost his patience and knocked on the door. “Why did you wash for so long? Come out now, or you will get wrinkled skin.”

“I am getting rid of something dirty.”

Finley answered from inside.

Bryan felt hurt.

His face darkened.

Dirty?

Finley considered me dirty!

Angry, Bryan still restrained himself. He would like to make peace with Finley first.

Bryan patiently waited for another 20 minutes.

The bathroom door was pulled open from inside.

Finley, who had rubbed her whole body red, came out with a fragrance. Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

There were the hickeys Bryan had left last night around Finley’s fair neck and collarbones. Some of them turned from pink to purple.

Looking at those marks, Bryan felt proud of himself.

“The soup is cold. I’ll get you another bowl.”

Bryan called Kate to bring a bowl of hot soup upstairs.

Wordless, Finley sat in front of the dressing table. She covered all the hickeys on her body with concealer.

“Why did you hide the hickeys? Nobody dares to laugh at you,” Bryan stood behind Finley and said.

Finley remained silent.

She ignored Bryan as if she did to the air. Then, she began to put on makeup. Finley didn’t throw a tantrum at Bryan as she had done a few minutes ago.

Bryan became sullen. He didn’t know what Finley was thinking.

Finley didn’t draw that ugly birthmark on her face. Therefore, she looked beautiful.

Finley stood up to choose her clothes.

She felt dizzy for this abrupt move.

Bryan immediately held Finley by the waist.

Finley glared at Bryan and pushed him away. She slowly opened the wardrobe and began to choose clothes.

She chose a dress with bubble sleeves. Then, Finley went to get changed in the bathroom.

“You can get changed here since there is nothing I didn’t see.”
