Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 1046

The next day, Rosalie requested a half-day leave. She then went looking for Theodore to bring him to his biopsy.

Theodore was very reluctant at the start, but when Rosalie started talking about Grandma, he had no choice but to obediently go for his biopsy. They had to wait three to five days for the results.

Rosalie reminded Theodore again and again to tell her the results once they were out. After that, she left him.

Accompanying Theodore to his biopsy felt like a duty to her. She left right after it was done, without showing any iota of concern or offering any comfort to him.

Things between them seemed to be reduced to this state. If one of them were to die, the other would surely attend the funeral. However, neither of them would weep bitterly for the other at the funeral.

After leaving, Rosalie went to visit Justin.Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Justin looked even better today, but he realized that Rosalie didn't look too good. After pestering her about it, she finally told him the truth. Justin remained silent for a while before asking, "Do you hate him?"

Rosalie chuckled. "Why would I hate him? I really can't find it in myself to hate him. I just feel very helpless. I suppose even if Aurora were to die of her heart disease, he might just find another woman in future. He'll have no lack of women. I just hope that if he finds a new partner, he'll settle down, live his life well, and stop bothering me."

"So, you mean to say that you've really let go of him?"

Rosalie sighed helplessly. "The most helpless thing in this world is probably the question of whether you can let something go or not. It's all the same. If I have to answer you, then yes, I have let go of him. I've already begun my new life."

Justin changed the subject. "Rose, your course duration is three months, right?"

Rosalie nodded. "Yes, three months."

"Promise me that during these three months, you live for yourself. Go to your classes and focus all your energy and attention on yourself. Be it Theodore Spencer or Sebastian Carter, don't care about what either of them say or do. Just focus on yourself, okay?"

Rosalie nodded. "Okay."

After eating lunch with Justin, Rosalie left the hospital. She focused on attending her classes in the afternoon, refusing to think about anything that frustrated and troubled her.

The next day, Justin saw the door to his ward being opened. He turned around and asked, "So early today?"

He stopped short at the sight of Theodore at the door. Initially, he had thought it was Rosalie.

Theodore walked in with a bag of fruits in his hand, which he placed on the bedside table. "Sorry, I'm not Rose."

"It's fine," Justin said. "What's up?"

"Just here to visit you," Theodore said as he settled down on a chair next to the bed. "After that incident, we haven't actually met one-on-one."

"I'm recovering well," Justin said. "Is that what you wanted to know?"

"Rose calls you her savior."

"It was nothing," Justin said. He didn't see himself as heroic or great. "I wanted to get rid of those people, anyway."

"No matter what, she's very grateful

to you and sees you as her benefactor. Then, Theodore asked "Who do you want to be to her? Her older brother? I heard you had younger sister who passed away, which was why you wanted Rose to accompany you over those few days."

"Did Rose tell you how my sister passed away?" Justin asked.
