Chapter 71
Chapter 71
Bianca’s POV
Sitting in the backseat of my black car, hidden by the tinted windows, I clenched my fists so hard that my knuckles turned white. There she was, walking out of Alex’s company like she owned the place….Christiana. I could feel the rage boiling up inside me, clawing its way through my chest as I stared at her from a distance.
Everything about her made my blood boil. The way she smiled, as if she hadn’t just ruined everything for me. The way Alex looked at her, with the same damn affection I had once thought was mine alone. How dare she? It just felt insane and made a dull pain spread through my chest.
I had been watching. I had seen it all unfold right from the start, Her pathetic exhibition event, the one where she’d lost her precious guests. I’d been thrilled at first, thinking it was her big downfall. But then Alex had shown up, like some sort of knight in shining armor, swooping in to save her. That was when I started to feel that dark, twisted knot of jealousy form in the pit of my stomach
They had gone to the bar that night; her and her employees, celebrating like they had won some grand victory. And Alex? He was there too, charming, caring, playing the hero. It made me sick. And when she got drunk, of course, Alex had been the one to take care of her. I’d watched from my car, biting my lip so hard I tasted blood, as he gently placed her in the back seat and followed her to the hotel.
1 stayed. I stayed in that damned car all night, watching. Waiting, Drinking cup after cup of coffee, my heart pounding in my chest. I kept hoping he would come out soon, that this nightmare would end. But he didn’t, Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
He spent the night with her.
I almost passed out from the anger and jealousy that surged through me when I saw him finally step out of that hotel the next morning. My hands trembled as I gripped the steering wheel. How could he do this to me? How could he betray me
like this?
I had been there for him. I was the one who stood by his side when no one else did. And now he was going back to her? To his ex–wife? After everything we had been through together, he just tossed me aside like I meant nothing?
I wept. My breath came out in shallow gasps, and I cursed, over and over again. “Damn her…darnn her!” I screamed, slamming my fists against the dashboard. Tears streamed down my face as I cursed Christiana, wanting nothing more than to strangle her with my bare hands.
But I wasn’t done. No, I had to see what happened next. I wasn’t going to let them get away with this. I continued my spying, trailing after Christiana, keeping a safe distance but always watching. She went back to meet Alex again that evening, as if it was nothing, as if they were back together.
And that’s when I knew. They had reunited.
A guttural scream tore from my throat, and I slammed my head against the seat. “No, no, no!” My fingers shook as I wiped my tears, but they kept falling. My chest burned with pain, a rage so deep it almost swallowed me whole. They were back together.
She had him again. Christiana had Alex.
“I hate her. I hate her I spat, my voice cracking with the weight of my bitterness. “I’ll kill her… I’ll make her suffer.” My words trailed off into an incoherent stream of curses, but it didn matter. All I could think about was her. That woman.
I could feel my heart pounding in any ears, my head spinning with thoughts of revenge. The urge to destroy her was so strong, so powerful. She couldn’t have him. Not again. Not after everything
My fingers dug into the leather seat as I envisioned Christiana’s face, twisted with pain. I wanted her to feel what I was feeling right now. I wanted her to suffer the way I was suffering.

No. I wouldn’t let this happen.
Christiana may have thought she had won, but I wasn’t done yet
I wiped the tears off my face, my hands shaking as I fumbled for my phone. My head was buzzing, thoughts of Christiana and Alex replaying in a maddening loop, and the bitterness in my chest was twisting tighter and tighter. I couldn’t take it anymore. I needed to do something now.
I scrolled through my contacts until I found the number. I stared at it for a moment, my thumb hovering over the screen, knowing what this meant, what I was about to set in motion. But I didn’t care. She had to pay.
With a deep breath, I hit the call.
The phone rang twice before a gravelly voice answered, calm and precise. No pleasantries, no greeting, just the silence of waiting.
I clenched the phone tighter in my hand. “Do it,” I said coldly, my voice barely above a whisper, but sharp enough to slice through the air. There was no need for more words. The person on the other end knew exactly what I meant.
A brief pause followed before I heard the quiet response, “Consider it done.”
That was it–I hung up the phone, my heart still racing in my chest, but a different kind of energy was coursing through me now….something darker, something powerful. Christiana would regret ever thinking she could take Alex from me.
I stared at my reflection in the rearview mirror, eyes still wet, but the sadness was gone, replaced by something fierce. My lips curled into a small, twisted smile.
Whatever happened next? That
was on her. Not me.
The wheels had been set in motion.
