Doted On By The Mafia Boss

Chapter 47: WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME

Chapter 47: WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME

Ryan kept mum for a while; his temper which was already in tempest hit its limit when she wasn't

getting his actions and wasn't reacting in the way he wanted her to act. Afraid that he would embarrass

himself more he decided t give up on it for now. "Nevermind!" He spat and turned away without even

waiting for her to react.

"I- Ok." Catherine, who was well aware of how his mood worked, decided to let it go. He had never

yelled out at her, not in the past long years was once when he talked to her with the slightest irritation in

his tone but she had seen how scary he could get when he was not in the right mind.

The two were about to reach school, while she was playing with the bouquet he gave her Ryan was

deep in thoughts. Everything he heard from Jack, the times when he warned her admirers to stay away

and random compliments he heard about her were echoing as a cacophony in his ears.

When the car finally stopped he stepped out of the car absent-minded; he looked at her, her lips were

moving and it seemed that she was saying something to him but he couldn't hear anything. She waved

at him and was about to go to her class when he suddenly grabbed her wrist.

Catherine turned around bewildered and peered at him.

Ryan's heart was beating as fast as ever when he blurted out, "Will you go out with me."

Catherine, "..."

The two looked at each other completely silent; Ryan was nervous yet looked calm silently observing

her expressions. She blinked in silence tightening his heart!

Why is she silent? Is she shocked? Did she not expect this?

His mind went blank, what if she never thought like that to him and he had scared her off. In the school

pavement, the two stood still, the time seemed to have stopped around them.

Unable to bear the awkward situation anymore Ryan called out for her, her expressions revealed that

she wasn't speechless but had slipped into a trance.

"What is your answer? You can take your time and give me an answer." Ryan spoke and was about to

take his leave when he heard the girl's weak voice ring up.

"Yes."

"What?"

"I... I am willing to go out with you."

The girl hung her eyes, flushing red; she looked youthful and full of love. Even though her words were

as clear as ice Ryan still took a few seconds to process it in case he was misunderstanding. Words

may lie but expressions won't; her rosy cheeks were saying it all.

Ryans heart skipped all of its beat as a rare grin broke out of his thin lips. She agreed to go out with

him, what could be better than this!

He slowly let go of her hands and the two giggled and blushed, being teenagers they couldn't keep in

their passion within themselves.

"I... That's good. I will see you after school and tell you the details." Ryan spoke after going back to his

usual cold self and the two parted ways.

That day Ryan was so shy that he took a bus home and didn't accompany her home. Jack, the

wingman, was the happiest when he learnt that she agreed to go out with him.

There was only one day left and the two friends were having a hard time deciding what all they were

supposed to do. Ryan was reluctant to the idea of referring to the movies to plan the date as it had

flopped tragically during the asking out time but after being convinced by Jack the two sat down and

watched movies.

Different people had different preferences, while some ladies prefer going shopping as a date Ryan

knew it was out f Catherine's league. So, after carefully planning out everything the boys finally took a

sigh of relief.

"I bet she will enjoy the day!", Jack commented looking at the perfect plan they had made and smiled at

his friend.

Ryan looked at her photo frame which rested below the table lamp beside his bed, "I will treat her like a

queen... My Queen."

13th went away just like that and neither of them spoke about the date. Even though the kids were

lowkey about their first date attempt their parents had already found out. While Mr Silva didn't bother

with and just gave her money to spend while the Nguyen couple sat and had a long discussion about

how mature their son was now.

Either way three of them were happy and satisfied with this union; Ryan loved Catherine and the three

knew each other for a long time thus they were sure the couple would end up together. Moreover, this

marriage would also emerge as a bonus and strengthen their business relationship.

It was a win-win for everyone.

As for the couple, they weren't thinking about anything else than their date. It was soon the 14th of

February, the infamous Valentine's day and the very day of their first romantic involvement. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

Dressed in casual blue denim, white t-shirt and black leather jacket paired with black shoes Ryan gave

out a royal aura; he looked handsome and crisp in this outfit. It was his first time wearing something

this flashy but Jack dragged him for a shopping spree as he found everything dull fr a date in his

wardrobe. The boy wanted to buy something flirty like red but Ryan ended up buying his usual cold

colours.

After getting himself loaded with wishes Ryan drove his car to her house, even though he wanted to

pick out a flashy car like a Ferrari his dad handed him the cars of Audi R8 in order to not attract

unnecessary attention.

It was around 10 when the boy parked his car outside her gate, he had visited and taken her out over a

million times but today he was strangely happy. He got off the car with a fancy heart-shaped chocolate

box and a bouquet of fresh lilies, which she liked more than roses, he took elegant strides to her door.

After a few knocks, it was the housekeeper who took him in and offered him water while he was waiting

for her to descend.

After taking few sips he just placed the glass on the table when he heard her melodious voice

chime.
