Chapter 2353

"Oh, oh!" Larry nodded eagerly, his eyes fixed on Norah. "You don't look it, Ms. Norah. You're absolutely stunning!"

Norah laughed, "So, are you implying that Mr. Hanson isn't handsome?"n"Of course not!" Larry quickly replied, then asked, "Are you still in school, Norah?"

Norah answered, "I've already graduated."n"What do you do for work now?" Larry's eyes almost glued to Norah's face. "My family's business is quite diverse. Which company are you with? I might know your boss."

Xavier suddenly cut in, "Weren't we going to play tennis? Norah, why don't you go warm up so you don't cramp up when we start playing."Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

Norah obediently went to warm up, responding with a soft "Oh."

Carol said in a gentle voice, "Mr. Hanson is so considerate!"

Xavier replied, "Norah's a bit naive; as the elder, I have to look out for her."

Larry caught the double meaning in Xavier's words and gave an awkward smile, though his eyes continued to flit back to Norah.

When Norah returned, Carol handed a tennis racket to Larry, "Brother, you and Norah will be a team, and I'll team up with Mr. Hanson. Take good care of Norah, okay?"

Larry immediately responded, "No problem!"

He then turned to Norah, full of confidence, "Tennis is my specialty. Just watch me!"

Norah didn't like the team arrangement but kept quiet. She only reminded Larry, "Do you need to change your shoes?"

Larry glanced at his shiny leather shoes and said nonchalantly, "No worries, skill matters more than shoes!"

Xavier nodded, "Then let's start!"

The four of them split into two teams and began playing.

Henson returned with some drinks and looked towards the court, noting with a frown that Carol ended up pairing with Xavier. "My sister can be such a blockhead!" he thought.

But he quickly calmed down, sipping his cola while observing the game.

Norah was clearly targeting Carol, sending the ball repeatedly in her direction.

Carol, wearing high heels, struggled to return the shots, especially since Xavier wasn't helping much.

After retrieving the ball a couple of times, Carol couldn't keep up and switched her heels for sneakers, but she still found it difficult to handle Norah's shots. Not wanting to admit her, fib in front of Xavier, sheo persisted.

Seeing his sister struggle, Larry started competing with Norah for the ball and redirected it towards Xavier whenever possible.

Norah raised an eyebrow, letting Larry and Xavier take the spotlight.

Soon, Xavier had Larry running

ragged, unable to put up a defense. Within ten minutes, Larry, unaccustomed to such intense exercise, was drenched in sweat, his dress shirt soaked through

Xavier showed no mercy, hitting the ball hard and fast.

Norah even suspected Xavier was deliberately making things difficult for Larry by hitting the ball at tricky angles, leaving him scrambling.

Of course, she couldn't prove it, but as she watched, she grew more excited, her admiration for the man across from her nearly overflowing. Larry twisted his ankle and was panting heavily, no longer daring to chase after the ball.

Norah took over, once again targeting Carol.

Thus, the Raye siblings took turns being outplayed!

Both teams were disjointed, yet oddly coordinated with their opponents, making it impossible for the game to go smoothly!

After half an hour, Carol was out of breath and flushed, gasping, "I can't keep up, let's take a break!"

She looked awkwardly at Xavier, "I haven't practiced over the holidays, my stamina just isn't there!"

Xavier didn't say much, just looked at Norah, "Come have some water."

Norah, still breathing evenly, approached Henson and said brightly, "I want an ice-cold cola."

There's nothing like a cold cola after a workout to double the joy!n"In cold weather, drinking cola?" Xavier handed her a warm bottle of milk instead, "Sip it slowly!"
