Chapter 97

Chapter 97

Getting married into the Franco family, that’s something the Macclain family’s biological daughter shoul

d do!

She wasn’t a Macclain, so why should she sacrifice herself for the Macclain family’s interests?

She shut off her phone and waited in silence.

Time slowly ticked by, and Carmella couldn’t wait

for too long. Around 6:30, she got out of the car and walked in.

Entering the restaurant, she told the waiter her room number and was led to the private room.

Standing outside the room, she couldn’t hear anything due to the soundproofing Carmella gently knock

ed on the door.

“Come in!” A man’s irntated voice came from inside.

Carmella hesitated for a

moment, then opened the door and entered. In the private room, there was only Gentry.

Gentry

had already been waiting impatiently, but when he saw Carmella, his eyes lit up and he cracked a smile

, “Ms. Macclain,”

Carmella instinctively asked, “Where’s Estelle?”

Gentry looked puzzled, “Who’s Estelle?”

Carmella’s face changed, she had clearly seen Estelle enter the restaurant, so why wasn’t she here?

Gentry asked the waiter to leave and closed the door. His eyes roamed unabashedly over Carmella’s b

ody, laughing, “Ms. Macclain, take a seat!”

The room was decorated luxuriously, with crystal chandeliers, precious wall paintings, exquisite tablecl

oths, flowers, and candlesticks – wastefully extravagant.

Carmella had to sit down, feeling guilty she explained, “There was a traffic jam on the road, so I was a

bit late

*No problem!” Gentry sat right next to Carmella, poured some red wine into a glass, and said, “As long

as you come, I’ll wait no matter how late it is.”

He squinted and smiled, with a greasy shine on his face. Carmella felt nauseous and immediately turne

d her head away.

“Nice to meet you, I’ll propose a toast to you, Ms. Macclain.” Gentry placed the wine glass in front of Ca

rmella.

Shifting away from Gentry’s closeness, she lowered her head and said, “I can’t drink alcohol.”

*Just have a little, you won’t get drunk Gentry leaned in, almost leaning on Carmella’s face, staring inte

ntly at her, and sighed in adoration, “Ms. Macclain, you are so beautiful.”

Carmella held back her disgust and softly laughed, “That’s because you haven’t seen my sister. She’s NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.

way more prettier than I am.”

Gentry was surprised, “You have a sister?”

“Yes, she’s taller and fairer than me, even prettier than a celebrity,” Carmella praised, seeing Gentry di

splay a mesmerized look.

Carmella continued, “How about I give my sister a call and ask her to join us? You can see if she’s a re al beauty”

Gentry’s little eyes flickered, thinking Carmella was just trying to divert his attention, he smirked, “No ru

sh, let’s drink first, then you can call her”

Carmella had to pick up the wine glass, taking a small sip.

“Can I call her now?” Carmella avoided Gentry’s gradually approaching body and held her phone tightly

.

“Is your sister really that beautiful?” Gentry didn’t believe her

“Of course, it’s true Carmella declared confidently.

Just as she finished, the door to the private

room was suddenly opened. She turned her head, shocked and exclaimed, “Sister”
