Chapter 1001
"What are you talking about?" One of the teachers, the one with short hair, finally couldn't hold back any longer as she kept going on, "Flora doesn't deserve to be an honorary professor? Then who does? The Global Medical Research Institutes are practically begging her
to be their director's successor."
Blake's mind was spinning, unable to keep up.
"What did you just say?"
She was completely taken aback. The idea that the Global Medical Institutes were eager for Flora to take over was mind-blowing.
The two teachers exchanged glances, clearly at a loss for words with her: "Just check Twitter, will you?"
Noticing their serious expressions, Blake felt a jolt of anxiety. Something was definitely off. She quickly grabbed her phone, hopped online, and opened Twitter.
And just like that, she was hit with tsunami of posts.
The second she grasped what was happening, it was like her brain short-circuited.
She saw that the University of Maple Grove, its lab, and even the National Medical Department were all rallying behind Flora-and hold on-
Flora!
She was actually FL!
How could this be possible?
What kind of status did Flora have to be the FL everyone was talking about?
Blake's hands shook violently as she struggled to process it all. She clicked on the screenshot from the University of Maple Grove showing FL's profile, and there it was-Flora's name, clear as day.
"Unbelievable, right? We couldn't believe it either." The two teachers, noticing her shock, sighed with a bit of sympathy. "Kids these days, huh?"© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
"Looks like I'll be asking Professor Flora for academic advice from now on. Did Mr. Garcia know about Flora's identity all along? Is that why he kept her at the University of Maple Grove?" the other teacher chimed in. "Gotta hand it to Mr. Garcia for having such foresight." Blake felt a chill spread through her, her mind a chaotic mess, barely registering what they were saying.
This had all taken a turn she never saw coming...
"I heard Mr. Richard is gearing up to sue the marketing account that started the rumors."
Hearing this, Blake started to gather her wits.
"A lawsuit?"
She licked her dry lips. "Isn't that overkill for something like this? People might think the University of Maple Grove is being petty, not letting go, and just being unforgiving..."
"Normally, yeah, it might slide. But this time, that marketing account crossed Flora," the short-haired teacher said with a click of their tongue. Mr. Richard, Dr. Jules, Dr. Ray, and even Mr. Tanner from the National Medical Department treat Flora like she's something precious. They're not going to let her be
wronged."
Blake let out a slow breath, "But with all the noise online, so many accounts jumping on the bandwagon, tracing it back to the start isn't going to be easy, right?"
The two teachers looked at her again: "Mr. Blake, it seems you really don't know Flora at all."

"Flora's not just a whiz in medicine; she's amazing with computers too, even better than the computer science professors. If she wants to find something out, there's no stopping her. She could even track down who's behind the rumors."
The teacher's words struck Blake like a lightning bolt, leaving her stunned.
Is Flora really that extraordinary?
Also a tech genius?
Could she...
Actually find her?
No, no, no, that was impossible. She'd always been anonymous and used a burner account.
There was no way Flora could track her down!
"Mr. Blake."
A mechanical voice cut through her thoughts, sending a new wave of panic through her.
She looked to the door in fear!
Mr. Richard's secretary was standing there, polite but distant: "Mr. Blake, Mr. Richard would like to see you."
