Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1529

Put on your headphones and tune out the world.

"Did Fiona really kick her?" Janet cast a doubtful glance over at Fiona. No matter how she sized her up, Fiona just didn't seem like the type who'd throw a kick that could break a rib. With a furrowed brow, she asked, "Are you sure you guys aren't mistaken? With her petite build, could she really do that?"

"Janet, trust us, we both saw it happen. We're not making this up," Patricia assured her, pulling out a raw video clip.

As soon as the video started playing, Janet was taken aback. It clearly showed them provoking Fiona, but her kick was impressively strong.

"Oh, and Janet, guess who the principal called us to talk about regarding Fiona's secret backer?" Patricia teased, dangling the information like bait to stir up more resentment in Janet towards Fiona.

"Who is it?" Janet squinted, already having a hunch. "It can't be Allen, can it?"

"Nope, it's Jackson Nash."

Jackson!

Janet bit her lip. The Nash family was not to be messed with. So, Fiona really did have some connections.

"The rumors were true. I saw Fiona holding hands with Jackson, walking him to the school gate. They looked so smitten, it was enough to make anyone jealous," Patricia nudged.

"So what if they did? The Nash family wouldn't look twice at a girl with nothing going for her."

And considering Fiona's background, the Nash family would be crazy to let her become Jackson's wife. Jackson was way older, and no matter what, Fiona wasn't even in the running to be his mistress.

At best, she was just another one of the women around Jackson.

Being a high school student had its own advantages sometimes.

"Starting today, make sure you freeze her out. I want to see if Fiona can handle staying in Class Nineteen."noveldrama

"Relax, Janet, we won't make it easy for her in Class Nineteen, only a few guys even call her Flora, and she

thinks she's all that?" Cont Pl

As class began, Janet had to turn around, her eyes landing on Nash's desk.

Seeing Nash resting his head, she grinned and mimicked his pose.

But gradually, something felt off.

The direction Nash was looking at was...

Fiona!

She shot up from her desk, checking twice to ensure she wasn't wrong, almost getting up to see just who Nash was eyeing.

With fists clenched, Janet simmered, Fiona, it's game on between us!

"Janet, what's up?" Her seatmate nudged her gently, whispering, "The teacher's watching you."

Barely able to hold back her

frustration, Janet stewed. If it

weren't for this being Mr. Smith's notoriously tough math class, she would've skipped, rounded up some friends, and given Fiona a piece of her mind.

When math class finally wrapped up, Janet made a beeline for Fiona and tossed

a note on her desk.

Fiona was snoozing away, oblivious to the note. As she turned over, she accidentally knocked it to the floor.

Janet was seething. Was Fiona planning to sleep through all of this?
