His Destructive, Toxic Love

Chapter 710

"Let me pay you for it," Eliza offered.

Gabe chuckled, "How much can a fruit platter cost? No need."

With that, he walked off.

Eliza, balancing the fruit platter, shut the door and turned around, nearly bumping into Casper, who had snuck up on her. "What are you doing?"

"Who was that guy? Offering help out of nowhere, he must be up to something," he said, taking the fruit platter from her hands and casting a jealous glance. "Are you close to him?"

"I just met him today too; he's... Allysha's boyfriend."

Casper's face fell.

Wasn't Allysha declaring she was single?

And now she suddenly has a boyfriend?

If word got out, could it cause a scandal that might even drag down his brand?

"Good thing we haven't signed the contract with her yet."

"She's not exactly a kid anymore; having a boyfriend is pretty normal." Eliza wasn't up to speed with Welton International's criteria for picking ambassadors, so she let it slide. Casually, she changed the topic, "You came all the way here; what about your work?"

"No matter how crucial work is, it doesn't hold a candle to missing you. Without you around, my heart feels empty."

"Casper, you're getting better at weaving sweet lies." She pretended to scold him, but her smile gave her away. "Alright, I'm off to take a shower."

"Together." He swept her up and headed to the bathroom.

He sat her on the vanity, his arms securely around her waist, and his kisses rained down.

The scented candles in the bathroom exuded a gentle rose aroma.

Steam slowly enveloped the room, soaking his shirt.

She tilted her head back, her long lashes casting alluring shadows, her small hands gripping his waist, surrendering to his fervent kisses.noveldrama

His slender fingers gently played with her earlobe, his whispers burning with passion.

The kisses were intense and unrestrained.

As if embedding his love deep within her, "I've never loved anyone like I love you, and I doubt I ever will."

"How much do you love me?" Her eyes, dreamy and wet, locked onto his.

She wasn't sure what answer she was after.

She just wanted to hear him speak.

"I want to come home and see you, think of you when I'm away, share every beautiful moment with you, have tons of kids with you, and grow efons old together, never minding each other's aging quirks..."

She laughed, "You're the one who's gonna smell like an old person."

Their fingers entwined.

Lost in their world.

Who knew how long it was before they drifted off to sleep, entwined and worn out...

Both of them were exhausted.

They slept in until almost noon.

The sun was glorious.

Through the cracks in the curtains, she felt its warmth.

"In a bit, I want to go rowing," she murmured, leaning against his chest.

He tightened his hold on her waist, their skin warm against each other, "I'll join

you."

"I can manage on my own." Last

night, he was wild, and she almost

couldn't handle it, "You stay here and

catch some more sleep some

rest."

"Not tired." A man never admits he's tired.

"Don't be stubborn." After all, we're not twenty anymore, "You have to embrace

getting older."

"What did you say?" His hand pinched her waist, making her laugh uncontrollably,

"I didn't say anything, you're strong, not old."

"Eliza, you're really starting to tease

me." He cupped her chin and kissed her hard, "I'll have you know, I can still go another eighteen rounds with you."

"No, thanks." She laughed, pushing him away and getting out of bed, "I still have

to go rowing."
