The flight to Lotivale would have taken two and a half hours. However, driving there required over ten hours.
In the evening, Madelyn was speeding on the highway when Andrew called her after 10:00 pm.
Madelyn turned on the music to mask the tire noise before answering, "Darling, do you miss me?"
"Where are you?"
She couldn't read Andrew's emotions because of the music.
Madelyn didn't dwell on it.
"I'm at Skyview Villa. Didn't I tell you? Carrie and Stella are both!
here tonight. I won't keep you on the line. Come back soon."
With that, she ended the call abruptly. Though Andrew remained silent, Madelyn's heart raced with unease.
Meanwhile, in Lotivale, Andrew stood on the balcony, his eyes dark and brooding. He clutched the phone so tightly that his
hand tensed with visible veins.
Jason stood behind Andrew. Despite the distance between
them, Jason could sense the chilling air that surrounded
Andrew.
Speaking with a chilling edge, Andrew asked, "Easton is not in Klago City, is he?"
Jason nodded. "Yes."
The atmosphere around them grew tense with each passing. second.
Andrew's eyes narrowed, his tone sharp and commanding as
he said, "You need to go back now. Find her location immediately, and bring her back at any cost."Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.
"Any cost?" Jason's heart raced given the gravity of the situation.
Jason was worried about tomorrow as only Benson would be present. Hence, he suggested, "Shouldn't I wait until after
tomorrow?"
"Go back now. I want Easton destroyed." Andrew's anger was
palpable, his eyes burning with intensity.
Madelyn deceived Andrew. She wasn't at Skyview Villa or in Klago City. Despite these tender moments of intimacy, she still deceived him.
All these were just to let Andrew's guard down. Now that he was not Lotivale, Madelyn went looking for Easton.
"Okay."
Jason dared not to disobey the order. He nodded before turning away.
When Andrew was left alone, he slammed his wine glass onto the ground, splattering the red liquid around. The color mirrored the danger in his eyes.
Meanwhile, inside the car, the stereo emitted a sharp loud. buzz. Spotting a service area, Madelyn swiftly pulled in.
With the car steadied, Madelyn glanced at her phone-
someone was attempting to track her location. Without a second thought, she intercepted the signal.
Soon after, Madelyn received a call from Easton. She promptly rejected the call.
She hadn't expected him to persis However, he knew that Athena had stakes tied to her, so he wasn't likely to give up easily.
Once everything was sorted out, Madelyn hit the road again. Driving through the night on the expressway, she finally arrived in Lotivale in the early hours of the morning.
She managed to detect Andrew through his phone location, so she headed straight for him.
When Wilson entered Andrew's room, he immediately caught a whiff of strong cigarette smoke. Frowning, he approached to find Andrew with a grim expression and dark circles under his
eyes.
"Did you not sleep all night?" Wilson asked, his brow furrowed.
Andrew crushed the cigarette butt into the ashtray. Just then, Jason's call came through, and he answered.
"What is it?" Andrew asked in a menacing tone.
Jason, who had rushed back to Klago City overnight, replied curtly, "Easton flew to Felasko yesterday."
"And her?" Andrew.pressed.
"There's no sign of her," Jason responded.
Since they couldn't find Madelyn, it meant she likely went with
Easton. Andrew's eyes flickered dangerously.
Without another word, Andrew hung up the phone. At that
moment, a palpable air of menace surrounded him.
