Love's Redemption

Chapter 937

Gavin led them to one of the buildings and took them upstairs. By then, Keira already had a good idea of what Jace wanted to give her.

Back then, he had given their wedding house to Tanya, severing all ties between them. That incident left a scar on his heart.

Now, he had built this residential complex and wanted to gift Keira one of the homes as compensation. But he was no longer there, and there was no going back. It all seemed meaningless now.

At the door, Gavin gestured to the keypad and said, "The password is your birthday."

He wanted Keira to open the door herself. Lena, still holding her arm, tightened her grip as if afraid that opening the door would somehow lead her astray.

Keira reached out and entered the password. With a soft click, the lock disengaged, and she pulled the door open.

The moment she stepped inside, her eyes stung with emotion. The design of the home matched her preferences perfectly, though it differed from their previous wedding house. Standing by the window, she could see the vast ocean stretching out before me.

She remembered a phrase she had once written while sketching out her dream home: Facing the

sea, with spring blossoms in bloom.

Back then, she had another thought in her heart, one she hadn't written down: Sharing three meals and four seasons with you.

At the time, Keira had loved him with all her heart. What she longed for wasn't just a house- it was a home, a place where he would be with her. But life had separated them, and now he was gone. This house, no matter how beautiful, had no meaning for her

anymore.

"President Johnston was always full of regret. This was his final wish," Gavin said, handing Keira a bag.

Inside was more than just a property deed-there was also a stack of contracts. Lena took the bag from him, opened it, and exclaimed, "What the hell?!"noveldrama

Keira didn't need to read the contracts to know why she was so shocked. The moment Gavin brought her to this residential area, she understood: Jace had given her the entire complex.

Gavin explained, "President Johnston said the decision of whether these homes are sold or gifted as welfare housing rests entirely with you Lena looked at Keira, waiting for her decision.

Keira walked to the window, staring at the vast ocean before her. "Let's gift them."

"As Miss Kay wishes," Gavin replied, nodding. “President Johnston also asked me to convey a message.”

Keira didn't turn to face him. Instead, she pushed open the window. Outside, the sound of crashing waves mingled with the cheerful calls of seagulls.

In the harmony of sea and sky, she could almost hear Jace's voice: "Rea, congratulations on your wedding. May you have a lifetime of happiness." and

Happiness had many definitions. For some, it was wealth. For others, it was health, peace, the well-being of loved ones. For Keira, happiness was being loved by those she cared about. Looking out at the horizon where the sky met the sea, she smiled faintly. "Jace, I am happy. Very happy."

"Congratulations on your wedding, Miss Kay," Gavin offered his blessings along with a small

gift.

Keira invited him to attend the wedding, but he glanced at her belly and smiled. "My wife has a prenatal checkup today."

He had found someone to spend his life with-that genuinely surprised her.

"You got married and didn't even tell me? Do you not think of me as a friend anymore?” Lena teased, speaking on Keira's behalf. "We haven't had the wedding yet," Gavin explained. "We'll hold it after the baby is born. Miss Kay, I'll be sure to invite you then." "What about me?" Lena grinned.

"Of course, you're invited too," Gavin assured her with a chuckle.

After he left, Lena and Keira lingered for a while. Finally, Lena nudged her and said, "If we don't leave now, you're going to be late for your wedding."
