Chapter 145
The creepy Heretic Medic asked, “Don’t believe me?”
Matthew remained silent, growing even more cautious.
Seeing that the Heretic Medic was about to make a move, the burly men nearby looked extremely uneasy and began to inch toward the door. They desperately wanted to escape.
Seeing this, the Heretic Medic smirked and said to them, “Don’t leave just yet. Let me show you the one–handed technique I’ve been practicing.”
Terrified, the
men stopped in their tracks and dared not take another step.
The Heretic Medic nodded in satisfaction, then walked toward Matthew. “Where should I strike you with my finger?”
Expressionless, Matthew sensed that this person had driven himself mad with his unethical research.
He was talkative for a crazed researcher.
But seeing the fear in those men’s eyes, he knew that the Heretic Medic was strong and ruthless.
Matthew relaxed his body, loosening his muscles as much as possible. He remained mentally alert. As long as he wanted to, his fists and limbs could transform into the most powerful weapons capable of delivering fatal blows.
The Heretic Medic said with a smile, “Don’t be nervous. You can’t beat me anyway. In front of a strong man like me, you’re just a waste of space. Even if you fought with all your might, you wouldn’t pose a threat to me.”
While speaking, he continued to approach Matthew. Soon, he stood just a few feet from him–close enough to strike.
The Heretic Medic suddenly lunged at Matthew with a finger aimed at his chest.
Reacting instantaneously, Matthew kicked his foot out at the speed of lightning.
The Heretic Medic’s body was sent flying ten feet back. He crashed into the wall before landing heavily on the ground.
His chest was a bloody mess, and blood spilled out from it as if it were a punctured sandbag.
A pool of blood soon formed on the ground.
The room fell into silence.
The Heretic Medic’s eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at his mangled chest.
The seven or eight burly men stood gaping. The shock was more intense than if a tiger had suddenly leaped out of thei
closets.
Matthew was also surprised at how weak the Heretic Medic was.
The Heretic Medic clutched his chest and mumbled, “How could this happen? Why did I lose?”
Matthew answered coldly, “Because your arm isn’t as long as my leg.”
Bealization dawned on the Heretic Medic. He began trembling as he continued clutching his chest. He scanned his
urroundings, then crawled toward the hospital bed.
“I still have a chance. I won’t die I just need to replace a few organs and get a blood transfusion, then I can survive Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

His voice grew weaker until it faded away completely.
Matthew suddenly remembered that there were still questions left unanswered. But the Heretic Medic and Noah were already dead, so who should he ask now?
Looking around, his gaze finally landed on the few brutes. He picked up a long knife and walked menacingly toward them.
He demanded, “What is this place? Who were the Heretic Medic and Noah? Who was searching for Medieval Medicine?”
