Mission: From Divorcee to Millionaire

Chapter 777

Eight burly bodyguards snapped to attention with a unified, "Yes!"

With that, they charged straight at Everett.

Everett, radiating an intense aura, was all business, his face a mask of cold determination as he took them on one by one.

Levi couldn't quite catch Everett's movements. One by one, these usually well- trained bodyguards hit the floor, their cries of pain echoing down the corridor.

Finally, Everett stepped over their fallen bodies and made a beeline for the suite.

Levi wanted to intervene but couldn't even get off the ground, thinking helplessly, It's over... It's all over...

...

As Everett entered the master bedroom, he found Selena sprawled on the bed, her clothes half-off, her delicate collarbone exposed.

Abraham was leaning in for a kiss.

Everett's eyes blazed with fury.

In a few swift strides, he reached Abraham, grabbed him by the collar, and yanked him up, landing a solid punch to his face.

He didn't hold back. The force of the blow sent Abraham reeling back, crashing into the coffee table.

Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, and he groaned in pain.

Everett quickly shrugged off his suit jacket, wrapping it around Selena. He pulled her soft body tightly into his arms.

If you looked closely, you could see his hands trembling fiercely.

He gently kissed her damp hair, murmuring, "Don't worry. I'm here. I'm right here." Selena vaguely heard a familiar voice. She struggled to open her eyes, trying to make out who it was, but everything was a blur, nothing clear.

By now, Abraham had finally regained his senses. He wiped the blood from his lip and struggled to stand.

He was livid, "Everett, what the hell? Breaking into my room and attacking me? You've lost it!"

Everett gave a cold chuckle, "Abraham, you brought my child's mother here with bad intentions. Who's really lost it?"

Abraham's face turned to shock, "What do you mean, your child's mother? You mean Selena?"

He squinted, trying to discern the woman in Everett's arms, "That can't be right. I was sure I was with my woman. How could it be Selena?"

Just then, someone hurried in.

Mallie saw the situation and froze for a moment, then walked slowly towards Abraham, apologizing, "Mr. Abraham, I'm really sorry. I got into a little fender bender on the way here, which delayed me. Are you.. are you alright?"

Abraham looked at Mallie, then at Selena, his expression full of disbelief.

He then gave a sheepish smile, "Everett, my bad. I drank too much tonight thought the woman in my bed was Mallie. Didn't realize it was Ms. Selena. But... how did she end up in my room, on my bed?

With those words, he deftly tried to shift the blame onto Selena.

Maybe she was trying to establish herself in Newport and thought Abraham's influence was the ticket, so she made a move on him.

Everett caught the undertone in Abraham's words and his anger flared even more.

What a way to dodge responsibility!

Surely, he knew who was in his bed. And did Selena really need to rely on him? If she had any motives, wouldn't the father of her child be a safer bet?

But right now, Abraham had played his cards perfectly, and his mistress showingnoveldrama

Everett's eyes were like deep pools of rage. He scooped up Selena and, turning to Abraham, said, "This better have nothing to do with
