"My Liege, we've finally uncovered something!"

In the most luxurious villa in West River Institution, the long-absent Drake and Myst knelt on one knee before Dustin. Their voices trembled in excitement.

"What is it? Speak," Dustin said while his gaze locked onto both of them.

He had tasked them with investigating the annihilation of the Fox family and tracking down any leads regarding his younger sister's whereabouts.

"We discovered that someone in Grayvale once came into contact with your sister when she was an infant. He might know where she is now," Drake said.noveldrama

Dustin's demeanor turned serious.

"Who is this person, and where can I find him?"

"He's Wilhelm Proud, the branch leader of the black market in Grayvale," Drake said.

"I'll handle this myself," Dustin said and got up from his seat.

An hour later, Dustin arrived at a dimly lit alleyway somewhere in Grayvale.

This was the location of the North Border branch of the black market.

Black market operations were always well-hidden, and without Drake's directions, even Dustin would have struggled to find it.

By the time he reached the branch, it was around 10 p.m.

Grayvale was a big city. It was also the central hub for several Western cities. Naturally, the black market in Grayvale was far larger and more chaotic than the one in Lannopolis.

This also made it an unpredictable place, filled with all sorts of people, both noble and vile.

The martial artists here were, on average, far stronger than those in North Mountain. It was not unusual to spot a few high-level martial artists wandering the streets.

Dustin made his way straight to the official reception hall of the branch.

Massive structures loomed in the area, including auction halls, trading centers, gambling dens, and fighting platforms.

As Dustin walked toward the main hall, two men approached him from opposite directions.

Unbothered, he continued forward without sparing them a glance.

One of the two, however, froze the moment he saw Dustin. His face drained of color as fear shone in his eyes.

It was none other than Marco, Shawna's ex-classmate, who had previously humiliated himself at Majestic Hotel by flaunting counterfeit goods.

Since that incident, Marco had gone into hiding and avoided his peers out of sheer embarrassment.

He had been working diligently ever

since and recently secured a connection with an influential client. It granted him access to higher circles in Grayvale.

Today, he accompanied this client to the black market to gain some experience.

But he had not expected to encounter Dustin here, of all places.

The mere memory of Dustin's commanding presence at the hotel left Marco shaken.

Even the owner of Majestic Hotel had treated Dustin with great respect and left Marco deeply in shock.

Hurriedly, he stepped aside and did not dare to block Dustin's path.

Dustin walked past him without so much as a glance.

"What's wrong, Marco?" asked Jimmy Thornton, a portly middle-aged man.

"Why are you so afraid of that young man?"

"Mr. Thornton, that person isn't someone to mess with..." Marco said in a trembling voice.

"Even the owner of Majestic Hotel treated him with great respect. I wouldn't dare provoke him..."

"Oh?" Jimmy frowned and looked at Dustin thoughtfully.

Though he was not particularly

impressed by the owner of Majestic

Hotel, the fact that such an

influential person of Grayvale would bow to a mere young man intrigued

him.

"What's his name? What's his background?" Jimmy asked.

"His name is Dustin Fox. I only know he's connected to a classmate of mine. I'm not sure about his background. His origins seem ordinary, but somehow, even powerful figures respect him." Marco said and shook his head.

"Dustin Fox? Never heard of him," Jimmy said indifferently.
