Very soon, the auction began.

The first item was brought onstage. It was an antique toy from ages past.

After some introduction from the auctioneer, he announced a starting bid of a million dollars.

Below the stage, everyone started rapidly bidding on it.

Each bid added another million dollars to the bidding price.

In the private room, Madison and the others watched in suspense.

"That's Grayvale's premier antique toy collector. He's the founder of the Arise Group. He's loaded!" Jay said.

"He doesn't care how much he spends on the antique toys he's interested in. He only cares about getting his hands on them."

Madison could only sigh. Rich people really had strange hobbies.

If she had that much money, she would not spend it on such trivial items.

"The next lot is a medical ingredient," said the auctioneer.

"It is a 200-year-old ginseng!" The auctioneer pulled away a red cloth covering the item.

“This ginseng has a starting bid of 10 million dollars! Each bid will increase by at least a million dollars."

Right after the auctioneer said that, people raised their paddles.
