Chapter 783
Dustin returned to Mayhill Pig Farm.noveldrama
He walked up the mountain with an umbrella. From a distance, he saw several people waiting at the entrance.
"Mr. Fox, you're here!"
When they saw Dustin, the middle-aged man in front immediately tensed up and ran over. He did not care about the rain or getting covered in mud.
"Curtis Zeller, the general manager of the Swansong Group, reporting to Mr. Fox." Curtis stopped before Dustin and bowed to him respectfully.
The others behind him also ran over and bowed to Dustin.
The Yeager family members did not see this.
If they had, they would have been shocked.
They thought Dustin had just gotten lucky and won the favor of someone from the Swansong Group. They had no idea that the famous company in Grayvale was just a tool Dustin used.
Dustin nodded, and only then did the Swansong Group people straighten up.
"Mr. Fox, please come in," Curtis said with a smile. He did not dare to stand up straight before Dustin and always kept his head bowed.
Once inside the small house at the pig farm, Dustin sat down on a chair and motioned for Curtis to sit.
"No, no, I can't sit across from you. I'll just stand," Curtis said nervously.
Dustin did not push him.
"Star Tower has seven main leaders, the Thirty-Six Nebulae, and the Seventy-Two Constellations. Which of the latter two are you?" Dustin asked.
He had only recently become the master of Star Tower, and the official ceremony had not been held yet, so he did not know all the details about the organization.
The headquarters was still working on the power transfer. Once that was done and Dustin went back to Central Harbor for the ceremony, he would officially be the new master of Star Tower with all the rights.
Since Dustin had not heard of Curtis before, he asked about him.
"Mr. Fox, you overestimate me," Curtis said with an awkward smile. "Everyone on the Star Tower list is exceptional. With my background, I'm not qualified to be on that list.
"My father is one of the Seventy-Two Constellations. He's unwell, so I've come to act on his behalf to follow your instructions."
Dustin finally understood.
"Bring the contract. I'll sign it," Dustin said.
Curtis quickly took the contract from his subordinate and handed it to Dustin.
"How dare a small family like the
Yeager family treat you that way! They don't know their place!" Curtis said coldly. "Having someone as impressive as you as their
vern
son-in-law is an honor for them. Even the top families in Central Harbor couldn't get such a big opportunity."
Dustin raised an eyebrow but did not say anything.
He did not care about the Yeager family at all. The only person he cared about there was Patricia.
He did not expect his subordinates to think he was interested in Patricia.
He did not bother explaining.
"How is everything in Central Harbor?" Dustin casually asked.
"Even though the master election is settled, and the succession ceremony is being arranged, the other two candidates who were expected to take the position are still causing trouble. It seems they're secretly planning something," Curtis said seriously.
"That was expected," Dustin said casually and smiled.
Whenever Star Tower changed its master, it always led to power struggles. The position meant great prestige and power, and no one would easily give that up.
At this sensitive time, Dustin appeared to be just a quiet person living in the small town of Rivenesco. But no one knew what big plans he was secretly working on. Maybe only time would tell.
Anyone who became the master of Star Tower must be exceptional. They were never ordinary. After all, it was a position many dreamed of but could not achieve.
"Every master of Star Tower builds a group of foyal supporters, and I'm no different. Starting today, I'll begin with Hattan and slowly build my own team," Dustin said and smiled confidently.
What do you think?
