My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness

The members of the Yeager family were troubled. They all thought that Patricia was brainwashed to act this way. They could not understand the kind of hold Dustin had on her.

"If you're insistent on staying together, fine! There's one last way left to get out of this," Zack said solemnly.

"Dustin can hand himself over to the governor and say that he made a false accusation. That way, he can swap places with Nico. After that, the Yeager family will visit the Zamora family with expensive gifts to ask for forgiveness. That might be able to turn things around."

"We can't do that!" Patricia was very agitated at that. She put her foot down in refusal.

If they went along with that plan, Dustin would go to prison in Nico's place. After all, making a false accusation was a greater crime.

"This is the best choice you and the Yeager family have!" Zack thundered.

"It's better for Dustin to be imprisoned for a few years than for Nico to suffer the same. That would bring the Zamora family's wrath on us!

"Besides, we will still acknowledge your relationship with Dustin after he gets out of prison. It won't be too late for you to get married or anything. We're doing this for your sake!"

Although Zack sounded like he was being caring and considerate, it was all fake. Dustin sneered to himself. All the Yeager family cared about was themselves.

To protect the Yeager family, they were using such underhanded methods to get Dustin to take Nico's place. It was preposterous!

Dustin could not understand the twisted logic here. He knew very well that the Yeager family would only keep manipulating Patricia if he allowed himself to get involved in this farce.noveldrama

Worse than that, Mayhill Pig Farm would also become the Yeager family's in its entirety. It would turn into something they could use and abuse in their quest for more power.

The Yeager family were really good at such schemes! They thought that they could claim they were doing something for someone in good faith while only thinking of themselves. It was utterly shameless!

Dustin was outraged at this. Meanwhile, the members of the Yeager family still painstakingly tried to talk sense into Patricia. They tried to get her to accept their ridiculous suggestion.

But there was no way that Patricia would bend to their will so easily.

She knew very well what would come of this plan. She was even more aware of the Yeager family's true intentions. There was no way she would allow the man she loved to be treated so unfairly. There was no way at all that she would let the Yeager family get their way.

In this horrible mess, Patricia would always stand determinedly on Dustin's side. She would righteously go against the Yeager family for him.

"Don't waste your breath. There is no way I'll hand myself over for Nico." Dustin's mouth twisted in a sneer as he locked his gaze on the Yeager family. He did not back down.

"Nico made a huge mistake and has to be punished for it! No one can change that!" Dustin's voice was icy and authoritative. He was announcing his conviction to them.

"Besides, if his family wants revenge, they can try to come at me. Let's see just how capable they are. I will play along with them for as long as they want." A challenge flashed in his eyes, along with disdain.

At this, the members of the Yeager family looked sour and displeased. "At this point, you don't have the luxury to choose!" Zack yelled angrily.

"If you don't give yourself up and admit to making a false accusation, the Zamora family will definitely take things out on us. You have to do this for the sake of the Yeager family's safety!" Zack glared at Dustinand acted as though he could intimidate Dustin that way.

Then, Zack finally lost it and said, "Men, apprehend him! Tie him up and send him

over to the governor to make his confession!"

When he said that, several of the Yeager family's bodyguards rushed forward to grab Dustin.
