Chapter 86 An Impossibility Come True
What Christopher had done didn’t seem like something a human could do, yet he still did it!
Everyone was shocked because he was the chairman of Centurion Corporation, and the chairman of a
company rarely had the ability to fight on a superhuman level.
The crowd was petrified when they saw that. It wasn’t until Fred started moaning in agonizing pain that
they returned to their senses.
It slowly dawned on them that what they saw wasn’t a dream.
“Fred!”
“Fred!”
Everyone in the hall went ballistic. Someone immediately dashed toward Fred and held him up. Fred
was in great shock and a bad shape. After he was slapped by Christopher, even his teeth fell off. His
mouth was basically filled with blood.
Rage, dismay, and frustration surfaced in Fred’s heart as he shouted, “Avenge me, Boss!”
Eddie was wearing a dark expression as he said through gritted teeth, “I didn’t expect a chairman like
you to be so skillful in combat. But so what if you’re good at fighting? You’re in my territory. You hurt
one of my own, and if I don’t punish you, I won’t be able to face my people!”
He knew Christopher wasn’t as simple as he appeared. In fact, just Christopher’s title as the chairman
of Centurion Corporation alone was enough to scare anyone. However, Eddie wasn’t a doormat, either.
If he couldn’t even avenge his subordinate who had been hit by Christopher, how could he claim
himself as the boss of the people in the hall?
“Punish me? I’ve always been the one to punish others. No one has the power or right to punish me!”
Christopher’s face clouded over too.
Any and all thugs who crossed his path in the past five years had died at his hands.
From the drug lords in the southeastern part of the world to the mercenaries in the western countries,
there was no one who had escaped his grasp, not even the rulers of Xyperia’s underworld.
The Great Wall of Chanaea wasn’t a title given out willy-nilly.
“Hahaha! How insolent! You’re the craziest man I’ve ever seen in my life.” Eddie laughed because they
were in his own territory. The people around Eddie added, “Aren’t you just the chairman of Centurion
Corporation? What’s with your snarky attitude? Why are you still acting so arrogant after injuring one of
our own?”
“That’s right! Do you think your combat skills are powerful enough to challenge all of us from Skywind
Gale? You’re just a single person. We aren’t a bunch of pushovers!” other people around Eddie
shouted.
However, the man in glasses, who was standing next to Eddie, said worryingly, “Boss, this guy
managed to become the chairman of Centurion Corporation at such a young age, and he’s extremely
strong. There’s more to him than we thought!”
The man in glasses had thought that Christopher was just another brat from a rich family who thought
everyone should listen to him just because he was the chairman.
However, that turned out not to be true.
No one else had seen a son from a rich family being that powerful before.
“No matter. Our people have this entire place surrounded. What’s there to be afraid of? As powerful as
he is, is he more powerful than guns?” Eddie wasn’t afraid because, in the modern era, ballistic
weaponry had replaced close-quarter combat as the superior way of fighting.
“Let’s just capture him, Boss. Let’s see if he can still act so arrogantly after this.” A man who was close
with Fred shouted at Eddie.
“Get everyone outside in here. I want the two of them tied up!” Eddie ordered.
Everyone in the hall snickered as they waited for people from the outside to rush in and capture Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
Christopher as well as Malcolm.
After ten seconds, still, no one from the outside came in.
It was as though there was no one outside at all.
“God d*mmit! What the hell is going on? Are they all dead? You! Go out and take a look!” Eddie
shouted at a random subordinate.
It was then Christopher uttered calmly, “Everyone, listen up. Enter the hall immediately. Kill anyone who
dares to escape!”
At once, loud footsteps were heard outside. Everyone inside the hall was stunned as they watched
people in special military gear pour into the room, who then swiftly pointed their guns at the members
of Skywind Gale.
