Chapter 45
Chapter 45
After my "audience" with my father ended, I was dragged to a guest room, as he ordered. The room
was twice as big as the apartment I lived in for two years. There was a bed, a closet, and a dressing
table with a mirror. Certainly, this "prison" was the most elegant place I had ever stayed since I was
tossed into the orphanage.
The hours passed and I was getting more and more restless. I knew I had to get out of there before 10
PM and find my way to the harbor. The room I was locked in was on the first floor. It wasn't impossible
to jump from that height, but the security guards were passing by that area every few minutes, not to
mention that the security cameras were everywhere.
The sun was setting down. I kept staring out the window, measuring how much time I needed to jump
down, run to the fence, and jump over the fence. My chances were low. I only hoped that Ezra would
figure out where I was and think of some form of distraction so I could escape.
Suddenly, I heard someone unlocking the door. I flinched and turned towards the door. It opened, and
Declan walked inside the room, then locked the key from the inside.
"What do you want?" I squeezed out through my teeth while sending him the most vicious glare I could.
"Oh, you don't know, Princess? You should know that you are the one who seduced me." He chuckled
coldly.
I stepped back against the window as he slowly moved towards me.
"My father told you not to touch me!" I roared, hoping that mentioning the Alpha would stop him.
"Well… maybe selling a virgin would be better, but the northern Alpha's dick is gonna break you
enough to make you bleed anyway. They won't notice that it's not virgin blood." He grinned cunningly,
his eyes locked on mine.
"Don't come any closer!" I yelled, thinking more and more strongly about jumping out of the window.
I turned around to open it, but Declan grabbed my hands and threw me on the bed. I punched his torso,
aiming for the solar plexus, and managed to push him away. Then I jumped off the bed and rushed
towards the window. Declan was faster. He grabbed my arm and tossed me onto the dressing table, my
back crashing into the mirror. Before he threw me on the bed again, I managed to grab a sharp, broken
piece, hiding it in my clenched fist. He restrained my hands above my head and sat on me. I kept
struggling, but he overpowered me completely.
"Get off of me!" I screamed, praying that someone would hear it and take action.
"It's no use, little bitch." He laughed, "You should be grateful. At least you will be experienced once you
get to your new master."
I growled at him, trying to give myself more strength to fight him, but he only laughed.
"Me and my brother, Derek, are the pack's strongest warriors. You don't stand a chance against me,"
he said as he leaned over my ear, whispering, "Just give up," and licking the side of my neck.
I flinched and pulled my head away from him. He chuckled and took one hand off his grip on my hand
to tear down my sweater. I screamed. At the same time, I prayed that someone would help me while
trying to release one of my hands. He pulled up my bra and smirked.
"Don't do it! Stop it, please!" I cried.
He began sucking my breasts. The sickening feeling grew within my body, as I found every second he
touched me repulsive. I shouted and struggled, but I couldn't do anything. His excitement increased the
more I begged him to stop. Finally, his lust clouded his judgment as he released my hands to take off
his shirt. That was it.
I used the sharp piece of mirror glass I kept in my hand to attack him. I stabbed his thigh, the only body
part within my reach. He roared while a wide bloodstream fell from the wound. I must have cut his
femoral artery.
"You asked for it, son of a bitch." I spat, putting my bra back on and hurriedly rolling off the bed.
I was going to open the window, but then I heard a familiar voice inside my head. The voice was calling
my name. Instantly, I knew what to do. I turned around. Declan's wolf almost surfaced. The savage fury
was busting out of every inch of his skin. He prepared for an attack. As he charged, I ducked.
Suddenly, something came through the window, smashing it to pieces. A huge grey wolf knocked
Declan down to the floor.
"Thank you, Ezra…" I muttered while tears flooded my eyes.
The big, grey wolf tilted its head, telling me to get on his back. I jumped on it and hugged its neck tight.
As soon as I did, he jumped back through the window and then took another jump through the fence.
The alarms went off and the wolves began howling, but Ezra's wolf was fast, faster than those who
were chasing us. The wolf kept running until we got out of the pack's district. Then I got off of his back
and it ran into a back alley to shift back into its human form. I stood there, covering myself with what
was left of my torn sweater. I trembled, slowly processing the fact that I was almost raped.
"Lilith, you have no time for that! Suck up those tears! You need a clear mind!" I feverishly repeated it in
my head.
"Throw me the cloth beside the dumpster, will you?" Ezra's words made my rationality surface.
I looked at his hand waving in need of something to cover his manhood. I chuckled and handed him a
piece of rag. He walked out wearing something that looked like a diaper. I burst out laughing. With the
entire pack chasing us, my behavior might have seemed like a sign of losing my sanity, but in fact, this
laughter brought back my rational thinking and focus.Original from NôvelDrama.Org.
"My car is just around the corner. I will put on some clothes I have in my trunk. I have something for
you to wear as well. We will go straight to the harbor," Ezra stated while pointing the way.
Even though I was more than aware of the danger around us, I felt calm. My freedom was just around
the corner, and I couldn't be more happy about the fact that Ezra was going to be its part. There surely
was no coming back for him. I felt guilty that he had to betray his pack to save me, but inside my mind,
I had already decided that I would work my butt off to repay him and grant him a good life.
We got to the harbor. The cargo ship was there at the dock. My heart pounded erratically. I walked
towards the accommodation ladder. With every step I took, I was getting closer to being able to get out
of this hell. I reached out my hands to grab the rail and heaved a sigh of relief. When I took my first
step on the ladder, I heard the wolves howling. I froze and looked at Ezra.
"Don't look back! Just keep going and hide inside!" He called while turning around, facing the howling
sound.
"Wait!" I screamed, "You were supposed to go there with me! What are you doing?! They will kill you!" I
ran down towards him.
He pushed me back, his wolf eyes glowing at me.
"Don't do this…" I begged, grabbing his wrist.
I knew that facing those wolves and my father equaled suicide. He abruptly turned around and hit me,
knocking me off of my feet.
"Ezra!" I called, standing up, "If you are not coming, I won't go either!"
"I'm sorry, Princess," he muttered, then hit me at the back of my head, knocking me out.
Before I completely lost consciousness, I felt him grabbing my body and tossing me inside the ship.
After that, my world went dark.
"Ezra!" I jump on my bed, cold sweat flooding my body.
My heart was pounding, and I panted heavily, trying to calm down. I looked up at the ceiling.
"Sariel's castle…" I muttered softly, realizing where I was and that I was dreaming about my past again.
My heart was slowing down, and I sat up trying to grab a glass of water. Once I lifted my head, I saw
Sariel sitting on the side of my bed.
He gazed at me with a cold smirk, "Who the fuck is Ezra?"
