No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Chapter 333

Xenia nodded, her expression perplexed. "Yeah, why are you suddenly so interested in this?"

She couldn't help but suspect that Justin was interested in Noelle again. After all, he had been drawn to Noelle at first-before Xenia deliberately stole him away.

Xenia's only hope now was to marry Justin and secure her place in the Parham family, possibly even giving birth to an heir. She couldn't afford to let Noelle snatch this golden opportunity from her.

"Are you interested in Noelle again?" Xenia asked bitterly.

"Noelle? Seriously? I'd have to be blind to fall for that violent lunatic," Justin scoffed. "By the way, what's the school doctor's full name? You mentioned his last name is Greene?"

Justin couldn't help but wonder if the doctor had some connection to the Greene family, especially since his cousin Alfred had stepped in to help.

Alfred and the rich bachelor of Yasnia were as close as brothers, so Justin couldn't shake the possibility there might be some kind of connection.

Xenia replied, "I'm not sure of his full name, but I can ask a classmate to check with our high school for you."

Samantha scoffed. "I know what you're thinking, Justin. That's impossible."

"I'm just curious. I mean, what are the odds?" Justin explained.

"How could Noelle, a country bumpkin, possibly have any connection to someone from the Greene family? I bet it's just a coincidence," Samantha said.

Xenia nodded, catching on what Justin was getting at. "Samantha's right. If the school doctor were really from the prestigious Greene family, he wouldn't be working as a poor school doctor at a high school."

She then added, "I heard his salary is super low, and he doesn't even own a house. Clearly, he's living off Noelle's credit card."

"I guess I'm overthinking it," Justin said with a nod. After all, just having the last name Greene didn't necessarily mean it was the school doctor was from the prominent Greene family of Yasnia.

Little did Justin know, he would deeply regret that assumption in the near future.

Suddenly, Samantha pulled out her phone. "Time for my favorite actor's new series. Oh my gosh, he's so handsome!"

Catching a glimpse of the drama, Xenia exclaimed excitedly, "Oh, that's my brother Blake! So his new series is finally out!"

"Did you just say he's your brother?" Samantha's eyes widened in surprise.noveldrama

Xenia quickly nodded. "Yes, Blake's my brother. We've been close since we were kids. He even promised to help me get into the entertainment industry one day."

Samantha's demeanor softened significantly. "So, when can you arrange for Blake to have a meal with us? I really like him." Blake was exactly her type.

Xenia agreed without hesitation, "Consider it done. Blake has been busy filming out of town lately, but now that his new series is out, he should be back soon."

Seeing how happy Samantha was, Xenia's mood brightened significantly. Ever since the incident with Noelle, Samantha had been giving her a cold shoulder.

Now that Xenia knew Samantha was a fan of Blake, she had the perfect way to handle the situation. If Blake had stood by her side when he returned, Xenia would have nothing to worry about.

Still, she knew she had to be more cautious moving forward-she couldn't give Noelle any opportunity to sabotage her relationship with the Liddell brothers.

After all, securing the Liddell family's support was crucial if she wanted to cement her place in the Parham family.

During class, Noelle received a notification from the Maple Enterprise work group chat: "Meeting at 3 pm."

Noelle glanced at it before replying, "Got it."

Isaac tagged her, asking, "You're coming? No class in the afternoon?"

"Yup, no class. I'll be there on time," Noelle responded.

Since she was a member of the company, She made sure to attend meetings

whenever possible especially after the recent plagiarism incident.

Although the incident had caused the Liddell Corporation to be labeled as plagiarists and lose their bidding qualifications, Noelle knew that the rumors about her and the Liddell Corporation were still circulating within the company.

After class, Noelle said to Grace, "I need to go to the company. Let me know if anything comes up at school."

"Okay," Grace replied. "By the way, we still need to find a sponsor for the base. We can't keep relying on your money. We even spent some on tickets last time."

One million might seem a lot, but it wouldn't last long.

Noelle nodded. "I'll figure something out and try to secure sponsorship soon."
