“Problems?” Khloe repeated, still puzzled. With Henrik’s power and influence, there weren’t many who could challenge him. “Who’s behind it?”

Fiona sighed. “Conroy Dayton, the Mayor of Zhecrora. He’s technically Mr. Watson’s uncle, but he’s always seen Mr. Watson as a threat, almost like an enemy.”

Thinking it over, Khloe wasn’t shocked. It made sense that Henrik’s trouble had come from a member of the Dayton family.

Khloe let out a sigh. “I have Gloria with me. What’s there to be concerned about?”

Rhett shook his head with a serious expression. “Things have been a little tense recently. While Gloria is tough, if someone resorts to dirty tricks or tries to overpower her with their influence, it could become hard to manage.”

Remembering Fiona’s warning about possible trouble for Henrik, Khloe paused to think for a moment before agreeing to let Rhett come with them.
