Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 380

Although the Hamilton family was influential, they couldn't find a compatible donor. There was a time when Brad solely depended on the ventilator in the ICU to

survive.

Just as he thought his end was near, he was wheeled into the operation theater. The surgery turned out to be a great success.

After that, Nadine took great care of him until he recovered completely.

Thanks to Nadine's undivided care for the past six years, his heart had been in good condition. He never suffered any pain or unusual sensations.

Through the six years, Nadine prepared all sorts of nutritious food for him to keep him healthy. She put all her effort into it.

And because of her exceptional care, he could appear before others in perfect health. No one knew there was a time when Brad's life was hanging by a thread.

Just now, Brad's heart started aching again after so long. It was as though something was pressing against it, so much so that he couldn't breathe.

Leaning against his seat, he clutched his chest with one hand, while the other was pressing on his temple. His mind was in a mess.

He'd never thought of getting a divorce. Nadine's gentleness and compassion felt warm to him-it made him feel at home.

No matter how late he returned home or how tired he was, he would feel at peace as long as he saw the lights in the villa being left on.

If Brad divorced Nadine, he'd lose everything he had now. He didn't want that to happen. In fact, he told himself that he would put aside all differences as long as Nadine was willing to give in and stop bringing up the divorce.

Soon, they arrived at Phoenix Villa. Clutching his aching chest, Brad staggered out of the car and headed to the second floor.

At that moment, he didn't want to see Nadine. He'd only see her when he weakened her resolve, and she finally gave in.

With a hand still over his chest, he entered his bedroom and threw himself on the bed. With that, he finally felt better.

Brad didn't know why his chest had started aching again after five years. He was exhausted and fell asleep right away.

Nadine was locked in the basement of one wing of the villa.

Right now, her hair was a mess, and her makeup was smudged. Her eye shadow

was smeared all around her eyes, making her look like a panda.

Her eyelash extensions had fallen

off and were hanging off her eyelids.

Her mascara was smeared too. mascara

Wrinkles and stains covered her purple evening gown. She looked like a ghost who'd just emerged from helf. She was in a pitiful state.

After the bodyguards threw her into the basement, they locked the door from outside. No matter how hard she shouted or scolded, no one opened the door.

She didn't have dinner and was starving. Knowing that yelling wasn't going to help, she changed her strategy. "I'm hungry! Get me some food!"

The guards on duty outside frowned but didn't budge.

Seeing that they weren't heeding her instructions, Nadine hit the doornoveldrama

hard. "Brad.only asked you to lock t

me in here. He didn't ask you to starve me. If anything happens to me, he'll never forgive you! Don't forget, I'm his wife!"

Goddamn it, so what if she used Brad's influence to her advantage when she was already in this state? What about it? Why couldn't she?

The guards exchanged a glance and discussed it softly among themselves. Then, one of them replied, "Please wait, Mrs. Hamilton. I'll get the kitchen to make you some food and send them over."

Nadine didn't restrain herself at all. She ordered a full course. "I want grilled chicken wings, deep-fried prawns, a ham omelet, boiled vegetables, and lastly, some pasta."

Damn it! She'd put up with him all these years. There was no way she was going to go down without a fight. As long as Brad refused to let her out, she'd demand lavish meals

every day until he went broke.
