Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

Chapter 863

Nadine had no idea why Brad was in her hospital room. Sebastian was the one

who had brought her to the hospital, yet when she woke up, Brad was the one

standing there.

The moment she noticed the man's dark, brooding expression, she instinctively

shrank back. It wasn't out of fear-she simply didn't want to deal with him. Nadine

shot him a cold look, threw off the covers, got out of bed, and tried to leave.

"Stop right there!" Brad snapped, standing in her way. "Are you looking for

Sebastian? Well, you won't be able to find him!"

Seeing her wake up only to immediately attempt to leave infuriated him. He was

angry that she used him as a substitute and didn't care for her own well-being.

What irritated him more was that she was concerned about Sebastian.

How could Brad not feel frustrated? She cared about everyone except him.

Nadine stopped in her tracks and looked up at the man who towered over her. Her

eyes were filled with rage as she yelled, "What did you do to Sebastian?"

This was Brad, after all. He often acted without thinking of the consequences.

Who knew what he might have done to Sebastian?

The mere thought of Sebastian suffering because of her filled Nadine with guilt.

He had done so much for her already. The idea that he might endure Brad's wrath

on her account weighed heavily on her heart.

Brad's anger only grew as he watched her fret over Sebastian. "What have I done

to him? That depends on you! As long as you behave yourself and come with me,

he'll be fine."

What did Nadine take him for? A ruthless tyrant? If anything, he was grateful to

Sebastian. If it weren't for him, who knew what Nadine would have had to face?

The last thing he wanted was to harm Sebastian. In fact, the only reason

Sebastian wasn't here now was because his family needed him to fly back to

Chillnada on urgent business.

Nadine's face flushed with anger.

Clenching her fists, Nadine lashed

out at him. "Brad Hamilton, whatever

issues you have, they're with me!

Leave Sebastian out of this! If younoveldrama

have a problem, take it up with me.

Don't drag him into it!"

Had it not been for her, Sebastian wouldn't have crossed paths with the Hamilton

family. If Brad had hurt him, she would do whatever she could to help him.

Brad hadn't expected Nadine to go

to such lengths for Sebastian.

Seeing her so distraught, any

amusement he might have felt

earlier vanished in an instant. Was

Sebastian really that important to

her? If something had happened to

him that day, would she have been

just as worried?

"Is that so? Fine, then! I won't make things hard for him. I'll make things hard for

you instead! Since you're okay, you're coming back to Phoenix Villa with me!"

Nadine parted her lips and was about to refuse when he added, "Sean's still at

Phoenix Villa."

Those few words stopped her in her tracks, forcing her to swallow all her protests.

Her Achilles' heel, Sean, was still in Brad's hands. What else could she say?

Grinding her molars, she glared at Brad's back and reluctantly got into his car. By

the time they left the hospital, it was well past midnight.

The streets were nearly empty, save

for the neon lights that painted the

city in a kaleidoscope of colors.

Along the river, the shimmering glow

on the water's surface stretched

endlessly, like a dazzling, twisting

dragon.

Nadine gazed at the passing scenery outside the window, but her mind was

elsewhere. The only thing on her mind was what Brad would soon do to her.
