Please Give Me Another Chance Mrs Hamilton

The news of Brad being rushed to the ER due to a heart attack spread like

wildfire. Within two hours, it was all over the internet. To make matters worse, a

nurse at the hospital, using a burner account, posted a photo of Brad being

wheeled into surgery.

This caused a major uproar in Janctera City's business scene. Even Lucas, who

was lying in the hospital, became restless. "Quickly, acquire as much of Hamilton

Group's stocks as you can! The more, the better!"

Quinn, sitting beside his bed, peeled an apple and offered him a slice. "Why are

you in such a hurry? Who knows if Brad is really sick? We should send a few

people to check if it's true. If it's a trap, we can come up with another plan.

"I've got two acquaintances among the bodyguards at the Hamilton manor. I'll

have them look into it."

Evelyn had stabbed Lucas less than an inch from his heart. Had she been off by

even a little, he would have died by her hands. He grew to despise Evelyn for

what she did, ordering his men to search for her and hunt her down. But there

was no sign of her anywhere.

Lucas nodded in agreement. "You're right. Let your people handle it. It looks like

Brad's really into Nadine. Send a few more people to look into it. If it turns out to

be true, bring her and her son to me. I'm dying to see what Brad will do when I

have his weakness in my hands!"

Quinn fed him another slice of apple

and smiled. If you ask me, we

should hold off on that for a while

Even if you capture them, Brad's in

no condition to do anything with him

being unconscious. It would be

better to keep an eye on them, and

when the time is right, capture them

to threaten Brad.

"There's one more thing you should consider. I've heard that kid isn't Brad's. Ifnoveldrama

that's true, it might be pointless to capture him."

Lucas swallowed the apple slices

and narrowed his eyes, deep in

thought. "You have a point there.

Then, let's keep an eye on them,

especially the mother—don't let her

get away! As for the kid, we'll deal

with him later. Oh, by the way, any

word on Evelyn?"

Lucas was now genuinely scared of Evelyn. He could still remember her hateful

gaze as she stabbed him. That look was seared into his mind, waking him in cold

sweats night after night.

Quinn pouted, "Do you think it's that

easy? Evelyn knows you too well!

She's probably gone into hiding

already. Besides, you severed

whatever bond you had with her

when you slapped her 30 times!

What did you expect after treating

her so cruelly? She's just giving back

what she received!

"As a woman myself, I can understand her. She loved you for so many years, and

she even gave you a daughter. If you had done that to me, I'd fight back too!"

Even though she and Evelyn were rivals, Quinn couldn't help but sympathize with

her. Those 30 slaps weren't just physical blows. They'd crushed whatever love

Evelyn had left for Lucas.
