Reborn As The 93
Chapter93
It must have been all the noise and commotion that finally caught Victor's attention, even though he was already running around like a headless chicken.
Victor stormed over with the script. "What's going on here? Why are you all gathered around like there's a circus act? Has the crew cleaned the set yet? Is all the equipment ready? Have the actors finished their makeup? What are you standing around for if you haven't done anything?"
As soon as they saw Victor losing his temper, the crowd, who had been craning their necks to watch the show, scattered in an
instant.
With the crowd gone, Victor finally laid eyes on Gregory in the middle, his bright pink hair making him impossible to miss. His face darkened immediately. "What are you doing here? Pack your things and get out." Already in a foul mood, seeing Gregory loitering under his nose only worsened it.
But Gregory just chuckled, utterly unfazed by Victor's temper, and shamelessly sidled up to him. "Victor, I'm just here to film, that's all."

"Film?" Victor sneered. "Our little production can't afford to have a big shot like you around. While I'm still in a decent mood, get lost."
Gregory acted like he hadn't heard a word, grinning as he edged closer. "Oh, come on, I'm not that much of a big deal. Actually, Victor, let me explain."Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
Victor crossed his arms, watching Gregory with cold eyes, curious what nonsense Gregory would come up with this time.
What followed was Gregory launching into what could only be described as the performance of his life. With a dramatic sigh, he lamented. "Victor, you have no idea.
"Since I was a kid, I've had a dream. A dream to star in a globally renowned film that would be on the cutting edge of fashion. A movie that would make even a 180-year-old granny and an eight-month-old fetus stand up and applaud. But..."
Gregory paused, shaking his head dramatically. "Fate is cruel. I've waited over twenty years, and that dream has never come true. Just when I thought it never would, your script appeared out of nowhere, like a miracle. At first, I brushed it off. But then, I took a closer look and, oh my goodness, what a masterpiece! This is a groundbreaking, earth-shattering work of art.
"If I don't take this role, how could I possibly face my fans? How could I face all the effort you have put into shaping my career? How could I face the major TV networks?"
Gregory continued, puffing out his chest, "So, I have to do it. I must take this role. If I don't, Cendelch's entire film industry will be set back 20 years. And Victor, as one of Cendelch's most renowned directors, surely you wouldn't want that to happen, right?" Victor was speechless. He had to admit that Gregory really had managed to talk a good game. He thought, 'Setting the whole film industry back twenty years-this guy sure knew how to spin a tale. Who gave him the nerve?'
But if Gregory truly was willing to act in the film, it would save Victor a lot of headaches and avoid unwanted media drama. Still, he wasn't about to let his guard down, knowing Gregory's track record for going back on his word. "You're sure you're in? No more changing your mind?"
Gregory waved his hand with confidence. "No more, Victor. To show my unwavering loyalty, I've decided not to take a single penny in payment." Despite his words being directed at Victor, Gregory's gaze was firmly locked on Eleanor, as if his real intention was to impress her.
Victor raised an eyebrow. "Let me be clear. Megan's role is non-negotiable. Don't even think about pulling any stunts with
that."

If Gregory dared to say anything about not wanting to work with Eleanor, Victor was ready to have security toss him out on the spot. Gregory clapped his hands in excitement. "I completely agree. Megan can't be replaced. Anyone who tries, I'll fight them to the death."
Victor sized Gregory up from head to toe, unsure what scheme Gregory was brewing, but he decided to give Gregory one last chance. "Alright, go get into makeup."
"Got it," Gregory called out, practically sprinting away with his bright pink hair as
if terrified someone might try to stop him.
Joseph watched Gregory go, frowning. He turned to Victor, his expression uncertain. "Victor, are you sure you want to keep him in the role?"
Victor responded with a cold grunt, "Mm. One last chance. I'll break his legs if he pulls any more stunts."
Joseph hesitated, mumbling, "But...we just called those other actors with open schedules. Some of them are already here. It won't look good if we go back on our word now."
Victor frowned. He'd completely forgotten about that. "Ugh, fine. There are still a few minor roles left to cast, right? Ask them if they're interested in those. If they are, let them stay. If not, take their contact info, and we'll prioritize them for our next film." Joseph nodded. "That's the best we can do, I suppose." Something came to mind just as he was about to turn and leave. He quickly added, "Oh, by the way, Victor, Mr. Lloyd's assistant called earlier. He said Mr. Lloyd will drop by later today to check on the set." Victor frowned, confused. "Who? Which Mr. Lloyd?"
"Which Mr. Lloyd do you think? The one from Lloyd Group," Joseph rep
Finally, it clicked for Victor. 'Of course, Mr. Lloyd, the guy who could easily invest 30 million dollars.' He asked, "Did they say who he's coming to visit? We don't have Lloyd Group artists in our cast, do we?"
"We do," Joseph quickly replied. "Did you forget? Zane, the actor we called back, is with Lloyd Group. He's been rising these past few years, so I'd bet Mr. Lloyd is coming to check on him."
Only then did Victor realize that Zane was signed with Lloyd Group.
Since Victor usually dealt directly with agents and the actors themselves, he rarely paid attention to which company they were associated with. If Stephen was truly visiting to check on Zane, there was no way they could let Zane go. "Get in touch with Zane's team, find out which role they're eyeing, and make the necessary adjustments. Whatever happens, we need to keep him on board."
Joseph nodded. "Understood."

Meanwhile, Zane could hardly contain his excitement when he heard that Stephen was coming to visit him. In disbelief, he asked again, "Really? Mr. Lloyd actually said that? He's really coming to see me?" Joseph smiled politely, "Yes, Mr. Lloyd specifically said so."
Zane clenched his fists in joy, barely able to hold back from jumping up and down in front of everyone.
Zane thought, "The heavens have finally smiled upon me. After working diligently for so many years, Mr. Lloyd has finally noticed me. Rumor has it that the current top actor at Lloyd Group is looking to shift gears.
'And now, with Mr. Lloyd suddenly showing up to check on me, does that mean I'm being considered as the next top star? I
have to seize this golden opportunity and perform exceptional
