Chapter 23 Scumbag Cheating, Evidence Was Sure
Olinka was extremely proud of herself. She was worried that she couldn’t find a proper way to get the position. Now that Amanda’s reputation had been ruined, everyone would sympathize with Halley. By then, no one would say anything even if she married into the Sean Family.
“Amanda, you know how to correct your mistakes. It’s not a big deal. Even Halley didn’t blame you. Why don’t you admit your mistakes? Why make such a big deal out of it?”
Clenching her fists, Amanda scolded Olinka. “Is there a place for you to speak here?”
Olinka was so scared that she trembled. Standing beside her, Halley said, “Amanda, go home and vent your anger. What are you doing in the company? Haven’t you embarrassed yourself enough?”
“If you’re not afraid of stealing, woman, why should I be afraid of losing face?”
“What nonsense are you spouting?” The expression on Halley’s face changed. Behind him, Olinka shuddered as well.
“You won’t shed a tear until you see your coffin.”
Taking a deep breath, Amanda fished out her phone and played the video. “Look carefully. Is this you?”
As soon as the video was played, a woman’s panting voice came out of the video.
The picture was of Halley’s office. The high-purity infrared camera captured the tattoo on the woman’s back and the mole on the man’s butt.
For a moment, the office was dead silent. Everyone was shocked.
With such a hot picture and gossip, it would be a life story if someone could see the company’s top management fall out with his mistress with their own eyes!
Some people had already taken out their mobile phones to secretly shoot.
Olinka hid behind Halley with a pale face, ashamed and indignant.
“Don’t shoot anymore!” Halley flew into a rage and tried to take Amanda’s phone away, but she dodged it easily.
“Is this the evidence you want? Or do you need the whole company to identify whether the person in the video is you and Olinka? If you need it, I don’t mind having a meeting.”
“How dare you!”
“Why wouldn’t I dare?”
Amanda’s eyes were extremely icy. She only felt disgusted for the man in front of her.
A document slapped on the desk, causing dust to rise in the air. “The divorce agreement is here. Mr. Sean, take a good look at it when you’re free and sign it as soon as possible. Otherwise, I’ll see you in court.”
No one expected the situation to be reversed so quickly.
Everyone, including Halley and Olinka, thought that Amanda had an extramarital affair. Still, they didn’t expect that the evidence now was that Halley and Olinka had an extramarital affair.
Compared to the video just now, the photo of Amanda and Iverson’s ambiguous behavior at the nightclub was not worth mentioning.
“By the way, there’s one more thing,” Amanda looked around and said, “after I leave the Sean Group, I’ll set up my own company. Don’t hesitate to contact me privately if anyone wants to follow me.”
“Amanda, don’t go too far!”
“Too much? There are even worse ones! Wait for a lawyer’s letter.”
Amanda glanced disdainfully at Halley, and Olinka then threw down two sets of documents and left.
Meanwhile, at the Byran Group.
“Mr. Byran, several media outlets called and asked if we can still hold the press conference.”
The press conference originally planned in the morning was temporarily canceled. Only Jamie knew that the transfer order from the Sean Group in the early morning disrupted their original plan.
Iverson was as calm as ever.
He sat on the sofa by the French window, flipping through the documents with a superior temperament. “Compared to the old news that has been suppressed, isn’t there more real-time news from the Sean Group?”
“Do you mean we can help Miss Jewell heat public opinion?”Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.
“It’s enough to release some secret information in the circle. Don’t be arrogant.”
Jamie was stunned at first. He didn’t understand why his boss would be so restrained when heating public opinion. Still, he quickly understood that if the affair were blown out of proportion, there would be all kinds of rumors. The more the rumors spread, the more unpleasant it would be, which would not be good for Amanda’s reputation.
However, if the Sean Group’s clients knew about it, they would not be able to sit still.
“I’ll do it now.”
“Go ahead.”
…
In just three days, the Sean Group received calls from clients. They all came to ask if Amanda had left the company. Several of the projects about to be completed and signed were rejected.
“Bullshit! SHIT!”
In the office, Halley threw down his phone and smashed the things on the table into pieces.
Olinka walked in with a document in her arms. She was startled when she saw the mess in the room. “Halley, don’t worry. We still have the Byran Group’s project, don’t we?”
“What’s the use of that? Iverson only mentioned this project to Amanda. Where is she now?”
Since Amanda showed up in the personnel department three days ago, the rumor that they were divorcing became increasingly intense. Now, it had caused the clients of the Sean Group to question it.
“If I had known this would happen, I should have calmed her down first.”
Halley covered his head in sadness.
Olinka clenched her fists and said calmly, “Halley, don’t forget that Amanda holds shares of our company. She won’t just watch the company’s profits be taken away.”
Only when Halley heard that did he come to his senses. He calmed down a little.
Olinka immediately stepped forward to comfort her. “I think she’s just trying to scare us out of a fit of anger. Who would go against money?”
“You’re right.”
“So, Halley, you need to communicate with the lawyer and see how to minimize losses. Also, you can’t let Amanda win this lawsuit. I’ve already made an appointment with the lawyer for you.”
“Where’s Amanda? Who is she looking for?”
“I heard it’s the SW Law Office.”
“Is the lawyer named Patrick Dolley?”
Olinka asked in surprise, “How did you know?”
“How could I not know?” Halley’s eyes gradually cooled down as he recalled something from the past.
