Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 45

Happy reading….

The sun had appeared and Jayden was neatly in his black t-shirt and cloth pants. Putting on a leather jacket and then approached Elena who was still fast asleep on the bed.

The woman seemed very exhausted from having to serve Jayden all night. The man just smiled sweetly and kissed the top of his lover’s head briefly.

“I love you,” Jayden whispered and then left to quickly head to his and Hera’s residence.

When Jayden get there. A warm sight immediately greeted him. Where Hera is playing with Juan. He was so busy with his work that he forgot that he had to spend time with his son.

“Hi, son. I really miss you,” said Jayden carrying Juan in his arms. Gift the child’s plump cheeks with a few longing kisses.

Hera just stared in silence without any reaction. The woman prefers to go from there. So sick of seeing that man’s face.

“Dad told us to go to his house today. Did you know?” Jayden asked making Hera stop.

“No,” she answered simply.

“Then he just called me,” Jayden mumbled a little. “Then get ready. We’re going to see Dad today. I think he’ll tell you to cancel our divorce,” Jayden said, making Hera’s hands clench tightly into fists.

But Hera controlled her emotions as best she could by taking a deep breath and then replied, “Okay.” Then Hera left.

Get ready as her husband ordered.

On the way the smile never faded from Jayden’s face because today his fight with Hera would end where he was the victor as he had planned.

He turned to Hera who was sitting beside him. Staring straight ahead. While Juan was in the back seat with Ara, his nanny.

But even though he feels he has won, Jayden is a little strange, has Hera really given up? Even though the woman wanted to divorce him so much that she asked for Haidar’s help.

A very reckless decision because it was in Jayden’s favor. Where he could keep his good name in front of his family and Hera’s family by distorting the facts.

Jayden was sure that today his father-in-law asked him to come because he wanted to beg Jayden not to divorce Hera.

Of course Jayden would grant that request with some conditions he had thought of.

When he got there he was warmly greeted by Anne. They went straight to the living room where Andrew was waiting.

“Ara, please take Juan to the room,” Hera asked Ara.

“Okay, Madam Hera,” said Ara, rushing to Hera’s room.

Leaving Hera, Jayden, Anne and Andrew in the room. Silence greeted because neither of them made a sound.

There was a heavy sigh before Andrew spoke.

“Jayden…” Andrew called softly making the caller turn to look at him.

“Yes, Dad,” Jayden said.

They stared at each other for quite a while. Jayden could not guess what his in-laws would say. His gaze was blank. But he hoped that what would come out of the middle-aged man’s mouth was what he wanted.

“Immediately divorce Hera!”

Wait?

What?

“I want to see you.”

One sentence that made the long-haired woman sit in front of Hera. The woman had a sour face that did not like meeting Hera. Actually Hera was like that but fate had made them meet more often lately.

“What did I call me here for?” she asked in her trademark cold tone.

Hera even gave a smile that made the woman roll her eyes lazily.

“How is your relationship with Jayden? Are you all right, Elena?” asked Hera.

“What’s your business?” They threw questions at each other without an answer.

“Nothing. I just thought that your relationship is still not okay because Jayden keeps coming back to my house,” Hera replied with a very calm expression.

“Tsk! Bullshit! Are you trying to annoy me, Hera?” Elena chuckled lightly. “Sorry, but that won’t work at all. I already know how to play you,” she said standing up from there intending to leave Hera but failed when the woman raised her voice again.

“I saw you at my father-in-law’s funeral.”

Elena turned to Hera. Unlucky! She thought Hera didn’t see her that day because she was sobbing with Jayden.

“It must be very difficult for you. Your lover is in a state of mourning but he is with me, hugging me even that night we slept together,” said Hera. “Shouldn’t he be with you?” she said in a whisper again.

Elena was still unmoved and reluctant to sit there.

“I don’t mean to influence you or anything, but I have a feeling that Jayden would never want to divorce me.”

It’s enough. Elena’s patience is running out. She glared at Hera there like she wanted to kill the woman.

“You know, if I had filed for divorce from him. But he always used various ways to prevent the divorce from happening. Even on a rainy night, Jayden came to me, kissed me so brutally that we almost did.”

“Watch your words, Hera! Jayden couldn’t have come to you,” said Elena gritting her teeth.

Hera had guessed that Elena couldn’t just believe it. But she had prepared everything. Hera took out her cell phone and showed her the photo of Jayden that she had taken that night.

Elena looked at phone with an angry and annoyed look. She even gripped Hera’s phone tightly.

“Don’t you think Jayden is really tired of you and wants to stay with me?”

Hera whispered softly to Elena. She could see how angry the woman was. Her reddened eyes and clenched jaw. Elena was about to raise her hand to give Hera a slap but was immediately restrained by the woman with shoulder-length hair.

“You don’t have to, Elena. I have no intention of going back to Jayden either,” said Hera, turning her warm gaze to cold and sharp. “You can have it all . . . as long as you help me.”

“You’re trying to make a deal with me?” Elena smiled crookedly. “I’m sorry, Hera. But I have no intention of helping you. I trust Jayden. I know him best. He loves me very much,” she said, throwing Hera’s hand away. Elena is still on her feet and has complete trust in Jayden. Although maybe it’s not completely anymore.

“Is that true?” Hera raised an eyebrow.

“Of course,” replied Elena without hesitation.Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.

“So you know Jayden isn’t the real son of the Xavier Family?”

“What?”
