Chapter 2137: Brother'S Attitude
Chapter 2137: Brother's Attitude
"..." Harlan had nothing to say.
"Let's go, son! We need to get to the hospital. You're injured like this, how can you continue?" Harlan's father didn't want to complicate matters. In the business world, it was better not to leave a bad impression on Mr. Marsh. Although currying favor with such a legendary figure was difficult, it was worth the effort.
With that, Harlan was pulled away by his father, and his mother didn't dare say much either.
The chief looked at Spencer and then at Ivan. "Mr. Marsh, you can leave now," he quietly reminded them.
Ivan turned his gaze, his eyes falling coldly on his brother's face. He didn't seem eager to leave.
Spencer initially met his brother's gaze but soon found it unbearable and looked away. He couldn't understand what his brother was thinking. Did he want to take him away or really lock him up? His brother seemed displeased, his face stern.
If he were really locked up, would this record affect his future children with Summer? Spencer grew anxious and regretted his impulsiveness, realizing he had also troubled his brother.
Sensing the awkward atmosphere, the chief tactfully led his men away, giving the brothers some space.
Ivan remained calm, his expression unchanged despite the shifting surroundings. His gaze stayed fixed on his brother since Harlan was taken away. Spencer couldn't bring himself to look back.
Silence...
Spencer thought calmly, knowing his brother was busy and must have come despite a hectic schedule. Feeling guilty for causing so much trouble over the years, especially recently, he mustered the courage and cleared his throat. Facing Ivan, he bowed deeply at 90 degrees. "Brother, I'm sorry!" His voice was loud and sincere.
He remained bent over, ears perked for his brother's response. It seemed he wouldn't straighten up until Ivan spoke.
Ivan showed no emotion as he spoke softly, "Angel has changed, Harlan has changed too. Do you have any other requests?"
"No more!" Spencer straightened up as their eyes met again.
Relieved not to hear any blame from his brother, Spencer stood tall and said, "Brother! I will do my best in the shoot! I won't cause you any more trouble! Trust me!"
Ivan said nothing, still glaring at him with displeasure.
"Brother, I didn't lose the fight this time!" Spencer grinned.
Ivan's eyes were cold. "How did you get those injuries?" He knew they weren't from the fight.
"Last night... almost had a car accident, got some scrapes."
"..." Ivan silently worried for him but kept a stern face. "Fighting doesn't solve problems. Even if Harlan said those things about you, you should reflect on yourself. A playboy image can be established in a day; reliable and devoted impression

takes much longer."
"I understand, Brother." He felt like a child who had done something wrong.
Ivan's eyes were deep and serious. "What do you understand?"

Spencer's jaw dropped in shock. But seeing that Ivan wasn't joking, he gradually accepted it internally.
"The handwriting must be neat," Ivan added lightly.
"What?" Spencer was startled. "You want me to handwrite it???"
Ivan's eyes shifted slightly. "What else?" His tone carried a hint of laziness mixed with iciness.
Spencer dared not say another word. "Okay."
