Swept Into a Fairytale Marriage 52
Chapter 52 Germaine’s Anger Reaches a Boiling Point
Farrah had already begun preparing in the hotel, meticulously working with the freshest ingredients sourced that morning. She made her own gelatin sheets, butter, and coffee powder, setting her creations apart from store–bought options.
She wore a pink spaghetti–strap maxi dress with a delicate knitted shawl. Even with her hair pulled up, sh radiated a sweet charm. She was truly beautiful–one of those rare people who only grew more enchanting the longer you looked. NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
With Sweet Sun nearing completion, it was beautifully presented, with a sprinkle of honeyed nuts for garnish and infused with sleep inducing herbs she had ground herself.
A sleek, extended Lincoln limo pulled up to the hotel entrance. As suited bodyguards rushed forward, the shiny door swung open. Adrian stepped out, flanked by Germaine and several executives.
He stood tall, his tailored suit accentuating his impeccable physique. He exuded an air of elegance and intellect, making him the most striking presence in the crowd.
Corey, Mark, and three associates followed, exchanging polite handshakes and brief pleasantries before moving inside.
Mark’s demeanor was all business, appearing somewhat icy.
The hotel lobby was lavish, and the reception staff was exceptionally attentive. Meanwhile, Farrah had just finished plating her desserts–eight delightful tiramisu cubes, each looking exquisite and inviting.
She waited in the presidential suite with the doors wide open. She felt excited, realizing it had been ages since she last saw him. A smile spread across her facelas she anticipated the reunion.
Before long, she heard footsteps approaching. Mark and Adrian appeared in the doorway, and upon seeing the woman in the pink dress, Mark paused, his expression lighting up with surprise.
“Farrah?” he exclaimed, his voice filled with joy.
She took small steps toward him with a beaming smile and sparkling eyes. “Mr. Lovelace!” she called out, her innocence radiating like a child’s.

Mark opened his arms wide, striding forward. “It’s been so long!” He enveloped her in a warm embrace. Germaine and Eyen Adrian stood frozen, bewildered. What kind of relationship did they share?
“It’s great to see you, Mr. Lovelace!” Farrah replied, equally thrilled.
“How did you end up here?” Mark released her, gently holding her shoulders and beaming down at her.” You’ve grown even more beautiful!”
With a playful grin, Farrah turned to present the freshly made dessert. “Want to try?”
*Sweet Sun?” Mark’s face lit up, his eyes gleaming with delight.”
“Yes!” She nodded enthusiastically. “It’s freshly made.
He accepted the dessert with a smile just as Adrian finally snapped back to reality and stepped farther into the room. Corey and Germaine flanked either side of him while the rest of the group remained outside the room.
Germaine felt her emotions boiling over, unable to process what was happening. Farrah not only knew Mark but was also capable of making Sweet Sun? It was too shocking to bear.
“Mr. Lovelace, please make yourself comfortable. We’re all staying next door,” Adrian said, maintaining a

polite demeanor. “Once you’ve rested, we can discuss the project.”
“That’s fine. We can talk while eating.” Mark replied, surprisingly cheerful. He glanced at the door. “Mr. Locke, you can just have the project leaders stay. The rest can take a break.”
Everyone knew he preferred a quieter atmosphere without too much commotion.
“Alright,” Adrian replied, slightly taken aback by the request.
“Oh, and let Farrah stay as well,” Mark added, not minding having someone unrelated to the project around during their discussions.
Germaine felt a wave of disappointment wash over her frustration bubbling beneath the surface.
On every previous occasion, she had been at Adrian’s side. This was infuriating!
With no choice but to follow Corey, Germaine turned to leave. The executives responsible for the project stepped in alongside Mark’s entourage.
How could an ordinary employee like Farrah overshadow her? Germaine’s expression turned icy as she tried to swallow her indignation.
However, she overlooked one critical point. Mark, a titan in the financial world, had just been called “Mr. Lovelace” by Germaine and had embraced her warmly, clearly indicating their close bond.
