The Art Of Revenge by MK20 Gab Chapter 27 Thalia’s Pov
I stretched my hands and let out an innocent yawn, my eyes were very drowsy but I needed to watch
Josh and his sk*nk. I did not want to miss it for anything in the world. Brandon woke me up early, he
promised he would.
And if he had not I would have skinned him alive if he had not done so. I widened my eyes and sat in
bed watching them.
Josh had spent the entire night going through my Facebook account, according to Brandon, who
couldn’t sleep.
Derrick, my attorney, followed him to his workplace and demanded to know my whereabouts. Suddenly
I became awake and I clenched my teeth when I remembered Melissa and Derrick. The two were
nothing but angels to me.
But the minute I had made up my mind to jump off the bridge I had blocked their lines. Somehow I felt
guilty, I felt like I was a jerk. Brandon gave me an immediate order to unblock them and send them a
message.
We didn’t want them reporting me missing to the police, which would result in a nationwide search and
media attention.
On second thinking, my assumption that no one would care enough to look for me after I vanished was
incorrect. Derrick and Melissa were one-of-a-kind. I promised myself that I would visit them once
everything was completed.
We sat there watching as Josh awoke and the two started bickering because Jessica was not pleased
with him snooping around my account and on top of it she had earlier ordered him to f**k her the same
way he used to f**k me.
Brandon glanced at me with a grin on his face, and I almost choked on my saliva.
I grew uneasy and averted my gaze. He continued to watch without commenting. I knew the p*rvert
had a lot of questions, but to my astonishment, he didn’t ask them. Instead, he remarked and said; “His
betrayal was haunting Josh,” I turned to inquire what he meant, but he remained silent.
I could only presume he had watched something while I was asleep and didn’t want to tell me about it
because it would hurt my feelings.
After Josh had clarified he walked away and took a shower, and when he turned to dress up I looked
away, causing Brandon to laugh.
“It’s not like you never saw him naked, or were you two making love in the dark?” Brandon asked.
“Brandon I don’t want to talk about it; it’s off-limits,” I said solemnly. I was furious with Jessica because
she was a complete m*ron.
Why would she beg Josh to f**k her the same way he used to f***k me? Were their useless lives that
boring or was she taunting me?
“How come you sometimes act like a virgin?” Brandon broke the silence. I had to whack his skull to
pump some sense into him.
“What was that, exactly?” he asked while holding his head.
“This isn’t about sex,” I replied.
“Whatever the case may be, I enjoyed watching Jessica dress up, even though her boobs were a little
sagging,” he explained.
I shifted my gaze to the TV. I kept quiet since I knew he had a thing for my breasts and would start
talking about them.
When the two traitors finally left the room, my heart started racing for no apparent reason. I sn**ched
Brandon’s hand, which was warm despite the coldness, and turned to face him.
It was almost time, and I had no idea if he was going to blow up their helicopter because he had
refused to reveal the entire plan. We were watching a horror movie, he claimed, and there were no
spoilers.
Everything seemed regular at first, a couple enjoying a good time on a skiing holiday. Josh was
overjoyed, and I could tell he was having a good time with his sk*nk.
Each time he smiled, moved in to kiss her or grabbed her hand, my blood began to boil. How can they
be so cheerful when only a few minutes before they were debating whether or not I had committed
suicide? How could they be so harsh, Jessica even dared to laugh at my predicament.
“Thalia, you are hurting me, Thalia?” Brandon let out a scream. I quickly looked over and noticed that
my hand was tightly squeezing his hand, which had become scarlet. I swiftly let go of him and
expressed my regret. “I’m sorry, are you okay?”
“Just keep your hands to yourself, and what did Josh mean when he said your father’s success
destroyed his mother’s life?”
I took my hands away in embarrassment because I knew his mother was an alcoholic. Wait, there’s
more. Sharon, his mother turned to alcohol and drugs after their firm went bankrupt…” I said, my mouth
agape.
Brandon smiled, and I could only assume he’d made the connection. Please don’t tell me those jerks
who blame my father for his mother’s life choices?” I inquired, enraged.NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
“People will constantly point the finger at others for their poor decisions or failures,” he answered. “Now
you know why he married you and betrayed you: it was all for Mummy,” he said.
My hands were on my mouth as I stared at him. Yes, I knew my father’s achievement had a hand in
their downfall but he had made it up to them with the merge and marriage.
But he had no hand in his mother’s decision to trash her own life? If anything, they should have all
turned themselves in as addicts.
“When are you taking him out? It’s taking a long time, when are you taking him out?” I inquired,
enraged.
“Patience, Thalia,” he advised.
But When I looked up from my annoyed state, I saw Josh flying in the air and bouncing back and forth
on the snow. I could see a trail of blood behind him due to the force of the crash.
I was in shock and certain he was dead, so I held my mouth in shock. When I turned to look at
Brandon, I noticed that he was smiling.
I stated that he was deceased.
“Calm down,” he replied, “he’s supposed to be near death for the operation to succeed.”
When I returned my gaze to the television, the camera was fixed on Jessica, who had hurriedly skied
down to Josh, removed her helmet, and rushed down to him. But the ski patrols kept her at bay.
Everything was happening so quickly, paramedics raced in and began assessing him while a chopper
hovered above the terrible scene.
My heart was racing as Josh was strapped to a stretcher and transported in seconds, leaving Jessica
behind. She was yelling and became physical with one of the ski patrols. She was helpless as the
chopper took off in a matter of minutes.
