The Ceo’s Contract Lover

Goodbye Kiss

Jayden felt that his little wife could eat well. Even though she looked thin, her appetite was unbelievably good. Thinking of something, he pulled out a platinum card and pushed it toward her.

“If I don’t get a transaction message from the bank, I’ll keep on adding ten thousand dollars every day.” He said.

“Cough.” Nina choked on the soup, hearing his domineering words. Before she could comprehend, the doorbell rang.

Rick walked towards the dining area, greeting the couple. “Master, Madam, good morning!”

“Good morning,” Nina replied.

Jayden stood up and took his suit jacket from Ms. Eva. “Let’s go. I’ll drive you to school.”

Nina wanted to decline, but Jayden had already walked toward the door. Helpless, she could only grab her bag and follow behind.

IDU was only a twenty minutes drive from their apartment. When they drove into the campus area, Nina suddenly asked him to stop. Rick pressed the brakes and pulled over at the side.

Nina turned to look at him and said. “Thank you for the ride, but I can go ahead myself.” As soon as she finished, the surrounding temperature dropped. Seeing his face darkened, she hurriedly continued. “Don’t misunderstand. I just don’t want anyone to know about our relationship.”

Jayden was silent.

Rick, who had been by his side for ten years, understood and unlocked the car.

Grabbing her bag, Nina was about to leave when she felt a tug at her wrist. Startled, she turned around to see her hand tightly grabbed under Jayden’s big palm.

He looked at her, his dark eyes gazing deeply at her. “You forgot something.”

Nina tried to break free from his hold, but it was a futile attempt. She gave him a puzzled look.

“You forgot the goodbye kiss.” Jayden reminded her.

A flush of red appeared on her cheeks, making her want to hide in embarrassment.

Did he not know that there were other people in the car?

Jayden ignored the faint blush on her cheeks and tightened his hold. It was apparent he would not let her until she gave in to him.

Raising her head, Nina saw students passing by the car. Fortunately, the car had tinted glass so no one could see what was going on inside. If she deliberated any longer, she would be late. Taking a deep breath, she moved closer to him and parted her lips, giving a peck on his cheek.

Just as her lips left his cheek, Jayden held the back of her head and captured her lips with his.

Her eyes widened, and she struggled, but the man did not let go. Helpless, she could only let him ravish her lips. After some time had passed, he reluctantly let her go.

Looking at her moist swollen lips, he was finally satisfied as his lips curved upward. Looking at her dazed expression, he teased. “If you want to continue, I can take you back home.”

Nina jerked and hastily scrambled out of the door lest he changed his mind.

Seeing the little bunny run away, Jayden was in a good mood.

“Let’s go.” He ordered Rick, who was trying his best to reduce his presence.

It was time to re-install the partition!

IDU was one of the most esteemed institutes in Spring City, and being accepted here was equivalent to securing a successful future. The institute provided countless opportunities and recruited rare talents, irrespective of their backgrounds. With a high acceptance rate, anyone who graduated from college was considered an elite member of society.

“Hey, have you finished your portfolio?” Nina lifted her head from her cell phone to see a girl in front of her desk.

The girl had long blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She had an average height and had a small mole under her eyes.

Nina nodded at Kaylin, her deskmate. “Almost.”

“By the way, why did you move out of the dormitory? Was someone giving you a hard time there?” Kaylin asked.

Nina paused briefly before answering. “A relative of mine moved to Spring City, and she suggested we live together.”

Kaylin nodded. Seeing that Nina would not elaborate, she stopped probing.

The “Ice Queen” of their campus was not one to engage in gossip or disclose much about herself, despite being her deskmate for a year.

As they spoke, a tall boy came near and sat down in the seat near Kaylin.

He was around six feet tall, had light brown hair, and dark close-set eyes that curved into crescents whenever he smiled. With his well-proportioned face and soft features, he was the epitome of male beauty standards.NôvelDrama.Org exclusive content.

Tyler Ray, the school hunk, and also the president of the student council.

“Good morning, ladies,” he greeted.

“Good morning,” Kaylin replied.

Nina acknowledged him with a nod. Tyler and Kaylin were the only two people she was on good terms with on the campus, and her life too.

“Nina, are you coming to the welcome party this weekend?” Tyler asked.

Nina looked at him, confused. “What party?”

“It’s the fresher’s party this weekend,” Kaylin explained, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

“I don’t know,” Nina said, her voice above a whisper. “I am not a clubbing kind of person.”

Kaylin and Tyler exchanged a knowing look, and Kaylin put a reassuring hand on Nina’s shoulder.

“That is why you should come with us,” she said. “You’re always so serious and focused. You deserve to let loose and have some fun.”

Nina hesitated.

The idea of going to a loud, crowded club filled her with dread. But at the same time, she couldn’t deny that there was a certain allure to the idea of letting loose and having fun with her friends.

Seeing her quiet, Tyler could not help but snap at her. “Can you please not be such a loser for once in your life? When was the last time you went out to have some fun? You didn’t even attend your freshman party.”

Kaylin gave Tyler a thumbs up, for she would never have had the courage to speak to Nina like that. However, she didn’t forget to encourage him, seeing his goodwill. “I heard the students booked an entire private room, just right for those who don’t like crowds. Let’s enjoy ourselves. Please.”

Looking into her friends’ eager faces, she sighed and agreed.

“Okay,” she said, surprising even herself. Before they could celebrate, Nina added, “But I have a curfew before twelve.”

“No problem.” Kaylin and Tyler whooped in excitement, high-fiving each other.

“There’s a fresher party at…” Nina typed and erased multiple texts on her cell phone before settling on a message. Right when she was about to hit send, her phone made a sound and a message popped up, startling her.

‘What are you typing for a long time?’

The person she had been trying to message asked her curiously.

Jayden was checking the messages on his cell phone. When he opened the app, he saw that there was a typing… on her username.

He did not dwell on it and started replying to the important messages that needed his attention. He reckoned that by the time he was done, he would receive her message.

However, even after twenty minutes, he did not receive her message.

“When will you be home?” Nina asked.

“I have a business party to attend. It’ll probably be midnight.”

“What happened? Do you miss me?”

Nina could practically imagine the slight smirk on his face as he typed the message. She rolled her eyes and sent a smiling emoji.

“I’m going to a party with my UNI friends tonight.” Afraid that he would object, she quickly added. “I swear I’ll be back before the curfew.”

The person on the other end went silent.

Seeing that there was no movement from the other side, Nina scratched the phone screen with her thumb nervously.

“Don’t do anything that you shouldn’t do,” Jayden replied after a while.

A triumphant smile appeared on her lips as she replied. “Okay.”

She was afraid it would take a long time to convince him. Turned out she was simply overthinking.

With no further ado, she walked inside the big ceiling-to-door closer and looked among the wide range of clothes before setting on a bodycon dress.

She made sure to let Ms. Eva know before she left, though it was probably unnecessary since Jayden must have already told her. To avoid drawing any extra attention, she asked the driver to drop her off at Kaylin’s place.

She really could not be blamed. Even the cheapest car in their garage was at least worth a million dollars.

Soon, the two girls noticed Tyler’s car driving inside the entrance of Kaylin’s house.

Tyler had always known that Nina was one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen. But, tonight when he saw her slowly walk towards him, his breath caught in his throat and his heart began to race wildly.

A fashion student, she naturally knew how to style herself. She wore a crushed velvet bodycon dress that hugged her curves in all the right places, accentuating her hourglass figure. The pastel color complemented her smooth, glowing skin and brought out the golden flecks in her amber eyes.

Tyler felt as though he had lost the power of speech as three words escaped his lips. “You look beautiful.”

Nina smiled faintly at him, making his heart skip a beat. “You don’t look bad either,”

With Tyler in the driver’s seat, the two girls sat behind, and the car drove towards the bar. Tyler couldn’t help but steal glances at Nina in the rearview mirror, admiring her beauty.

“You should dress up more often,” he said, breaking the silence.

Kaylin nodded in agreement. “That’s what I told her, too.”

However, Nina felt otherwise. “Troublesome,” she muttered, her shoulders slumping.
