The Double or more Life of the Fake Heiress (Mirabella)

Chapter 1400

Despite all the hard work, they still didn't find anything conclusive. When they tried to retrieve the surveillance footage, they noticed signs of tampering. It took a lot of effort from the tech team to restore and recover it.

Running a hand through his hair, Atlas couldn't help but ask, "Miss Mira, who is this Paul guy, really?"

Mirabella was already flipping through the documents she pulled from the folder. She skimmed through them quickly, and only when she reached the last page did she look up to respond, "An old friend."

Thinking back to the elderly man in the footage, who looked like the very picture of wisdom, calling him an old friend seemed accurate enough. Atlas didn't ask further about how Miss Mira knew him.

Instead, he pointed to a USB drive in the folder, "Oh, and Miss Mira, one of the surveillance clips was restored by my team."

Mirabella responded with a slight narrowing of her eyes.

Morgan, besides mastering a smartphone, was clueless about advanced tech, let alone erasing surveillance records. Gathering her thoughts, Mirabella put the documents back into the folder, "Got it, thanks, Atlas."

"No need to thank me, Miss Mira. Just doing my job," Atlas said with a friendly smile, adding, "I'll keep tabs on this Paul."

"Alright," Mirabella nodded.

"If there's nothing else, I'll head out."

Atlas had been pretty busy lately. Since Ben got bailed out, he vanished without a trace, with no leads either at home or abroad.noveldrama

Given the mystery surrounding

Atlas couldn't let his guard down until he was found.

Watching Atlas drive away, Mirabella entered her house. Marian was in the kitchen, cooking dinner. After glancing in, Mirabella took the documents and went upstairs.

Soon, she plugged the USB into her computer. There were five videos on it, and she patiently watched each one. They were a bit long, so she played them at a faster speed.

After finishing the last clip, she replayed and paused on a specific frame. Paul had just entered a

coffee shop, followed by a n

guy

wearing sunglasses. Once inside, neither of them was seen leaving.

The man with sunglasses wasn't captured from the front, and his slim build made it hard to guess his age.

This last clip was the one Atlas mentioned had been restored, marking the last place Morgan was seen, near a pharmacy association.

Resting her chin on her hand, Mirabella stared intently at the screen, deep in thought. Lots of people came and went in the coffee shop, but aside from Morgan, this guy hadn't shown up again.

After pondering for a moment, Mirabella replayed the video, capturing the clearest side profile of the man and saving it. She then sent it to her phone.

With the screenshot saved, she shut down her computer, no longer interested in the videos. She slumped back in her chair, lost in thought, hardly moving.

It wasn't until Marian knocked, calling her down for dinner, that she

snapped back to reality. M net

paused, picked up her phone,

opened Wyatt's Messenger, and sent him the screenshot she'd saved.
