Chapter 595 I Will Give It to You Any Wedding Gift You Want
Five minutes after Elijah sent the message, Natalie replied with a single word.
"Okay."
Elijah smiled. He knew it. His favorite couple was as sweet as ever. Once Marcus woke up to find Natalie by his side, the joy would be overwhelming.
He stayed quietly in the office. Since Marcus had asked him not to say anything, he wouldn't.
Once Natalie arrived, she would naturally discover that Marcus had been personally designing her wedding rings and gown.
...
At the Walker residence, Natalie lay on her bed for a while after replying to Elijah. Once she had rested enough, she got up.
Half an hour later, she came downstairs with a backpack slung over her shoulder.
William and Charlotte were already awake, and the kitchen was preparing all her favorite dishes. Charlotte had even picked out a bouquet of bright red roses. The moment she saw Natalie, she handed the flowers to her.
"Sweetie, why didn't you sleep a little longer? Look at the flowers I got for you. Do you like them?"
Natalie accepted them with a smile and a nod. "Thank you, Mom. I love them." "Come and have breakfast. George prepared all your favorites."
"I'll skip eating here. I want to take it with me." Natalie was worried Marcus hadn't eaten properly, so she decided to bring food to his office and eat with him.
"Alright. I'll help you pack." Charlotte didn't ask questions. She immediately grabbed a beautiful insulated lunch box and carefully packed up several delicious dishes. Without Natalie needing to say a word, she prepared enough for two.
By the time Natalie was ready to leave, she was carrying several bags.
"Where are you going, Nat? Let me drive you." Timothy stepped out from the house, smiling warmly. "I'm sorry I've been so busy with competitions and training. I haven't had much time to spend with you."
"Good morning, Timothy." Natalie glanced at the bags in her hands. Thinking about how little time they had spent together, she nodded. "Then I'll take you up on that. Can you drop me off at Holden Group?"
"Of course. Let's go." Timothy reached out and took the bags from her. "I'll bring the car around."
"Thank you, Timothy."
He soon pulled up in a sleek black Bentley. After parking in front of the house, he got out and opened the passenger door for her. "Hop in."
"Thanks." Natalie climbed into the car and noticed how carefully the food had been placed beside her.
She hadn't spent much time with Timothy before. Their past interactions had been brief, but it was easy to tell that he was gentle, calm, and very patient.
"So, how does it feel living with Marcus after getting the marriage certificate?" Timothy asked while driving.
Natalie nodded and said, "I'm used to it. Honestly, not much has changed. We just have a marriage certificate now. Living at his place doesn't feel awkward anymore. I don't feel any pressure or discomfort about it either."
Timothy nodded. "That makes sense. It's not ideal for a woman to live in a man's home without a defined status. But just to be clear, I'm not criticizing you. It's his privilege to have you in his home. He's the one who doesn't deserve to question you."
Natalie didn't respond, but she had noticed it early on. Except for Sky, all her brothers treated her with extreme protectiveness and a touch of over-the-top affection.
That kind of love used to be reserved for Emma. Emma's greatest fear had always been Natalie's return, because it meant the end of her favored status in the Walker family. That was why she had tried so hard to push Natalie out.
"What kind of wedding gift would you like? I'll give you anything. I've been busy, and I haven't really dated anyone, I don't understand what women like."
He glanced at her with a gentle smile. "I just didn't want to assume and get it wrong. So I figured it's better to ask you directly. Don't think I'm being too blunt. I just really want to do something for you."
Natalie smiled. "Timothy, I actually like straightforward people. Mom and Dad have already prepared almost everything. I don't need anything else. Why don't you give me money instead? I'm working on a charity project, and there are a lot of kids who need help. I could really use the funds."
"Then I'll give you all my prize money and investment dividends."
Natalie shook her head gently. "You don't have to give me everything. I know you
all care about me and want to make up for what I've been through. I really do understand. But I don't want you to give me everything and end up affecting your own life.
"None of you are in relationships right now, but that doesn't mean you won't fall in love someday. You'll have your own partners, your own families, and your own children. Just a little is enough."
"Alright. I'll set aside a monthly donation for your charity work. And if you have a specific child in mind, let me know. I'll sponsor them long-term."
Natalie turned toward him. "Really? You'd really sponsor a student?"
"Why not?" Timothy chuckled. "We're here."
They chatted the whole way to Holden Group.
He parked the car and got out, unloading all the bags. "Nat, I won't go up with you. We've already planned several wedding schemes. Today we'll finalize the details so you can take a look.
"As for Marcus, it's good to care about him and support him, but never let him outrank you in your life. Remember this. No matter how good a man is, never put him above yourself. Always put yourself first."
"I understand. I will."
Looking at Natalie's sweet, quietly attentive expression, Timothy couldn't help but reach out and gently ruffle her hair.
He remembered how cold and
distant she had been when she first returned to the Walker family. had started speaking to him differently. Her voice carried a quiet warmth, and the way she looked at him felt easy and unforced. That small shift made his chest tighten.
He had missed too many years of her life. He couldn't let his next tournament pull
him away from her wedding.
"Alright, I'm going in now," he said.
"Go on."
"I'll be taking a break for a while. If anything comes up, just call me. I'll be there
right away."
He added, "Lincoln is busy with
Walker Group and his entertainment company, Hector has been
swamped with surgeries at the
hospital. And Mason, well, honet
girlfriend now. That's your friend, Ms. Thatcher. So if you need anything, don't bother them. Just come to me. noveldrama
"Got it," Natalie replied. "Thank you, Timothy. Then I'm heading in."
"Take care."
Timothy watched Natalie walk into the Holden Group building. He pulled out his phone and called Ethan.
"Hey, Ethan, Natalie is here to see Marcus. Go downstairs and get her. Don't keep
her waiting."
