Convincing Ramos
Chapter 33 Convincing Ramos
“You don’t have to be an Oscar winner,” Alfredo said with a small smile. “You just have to be convincing enough to fool Ramos.”
“What if he doesn’t believe me?” Raven asked.
“We need to make sure he does,” Alfredo said. “We need to make sure that every detail is airtight. We need to make sure there’s nothing that can go wrong. We need to plan this out thoroughly.”
“We could start by going through all the information we have on Ramos,” Raven suggested. “If we know everything about him, we’ll be more likely to predict what he’ll do next.”
Alfredo nodded. “That’s a good place to start,” he said. “We need to know as much as possible about him.”
They spent the next few hours poring over documents, looking for any bit of information that could be useful. It was slow and tedious work, but it was important.
They needed to know everything they could about Ramos if they were going to be successful.
By the end of the day, they had a stack of documents detailing every aspect of Ramos’ life. It was a bit overwhelming, but they were determined to go through it all.
As they were about to call it a night, they found something that caught their attention. It was a small piece of information, but it could be significant.
It was the day of the big meeting. Raven had spent hours preparing, practicing her lines and getting into character. She knew she had to be convincing, or the whole plan would fail. This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
She knew that this was her only chance to save her father, and she was determined to make it work.
She walked into the room where Ramos was waiting for her. She tried to hide her nerves, but she could feel them rising up inside her. She had to stay calm and focused, or she would give herself away.
Ramos looked up at her, his eyes cold and calculating.
“Look at what the cat dragged in. If it isn’t my bride who followed the Sanchez boys and almost lured me into a trap.” He said.
“I gave you the location you piece of shit. Now let me see my father.” Raven said.
“Through, you did give me the information I needed, but I know you are working with the Sanchez brothers because you are here right now.
I thought they kidnapped you on our wedding day? I’m shocked to see you perfectly fine. Did they let you go?” He asked.
“Yeah, they let me go for good behaviour. No you dick head. I escaped the same day I gave you the valuable information.
Now they might be coming for me and so you have to protect me because you got me into this mess.” Raven said.
Ramos’s eyes narrowed, and he studied her for a moment. “I’m not sure I believe you,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. “You could be lying to me.”
Raven felt her heart pounding in her chest. She knew she had to be convincing, or she would be in serious trouble.
“I’m not lying,” she said, looking him directly in the eye. “Why would I put myself in danger like this if I wasn’t telling the truth?”
Ramos considered her words, his face unreadable. After what seemed like an eternity, he finally spoke.
“Fine,” he said, his voice cold. “I’ll grant you protection. But if you ever try to trick me again, I will not hesitate to end your life. Do you understand?”
“Yes,” Raven said, her voice barely above a whisper. She had to hide her relief. She knew she had to play along, or he would never let her out of his sight. She had to bide her time until she could find a way to escape.
Ramos motioned for her to follow him, and she did so, keeping her head down and her expression neutral.
As they walked through the halls of the building, Raven tried to take in as much information as possible. She was looking for any way to escape, any weakness in the security.
She also had to look like she was being compliant, like she didn’t have any ulterior motives. It was a difficult balancing act, but she knew she had to do it if she wanted to survive.
Finally, they reached a room at the end of the hall. Ramos opened the door and motioned for her to enter. She hesitated for a moment, then stepped inside. The room was dark and smelled of sweat and fear.
She could hear the sound of someone breathing heavily, and she knew that person must be her father. She tried to keep her composure as she moved towards the sound.
Then, she saw him. Her father was chained to the wall, his body covered in bruises and cuts. His eyes were filled with fear, and he was struggling to breathe.
“Papa!” Raven cried, rushing to his side. She tried to reach for him, but he pulled away from her.
