Chapter 177 I Am Your Man
Chapter 177 I Am Your Man
When Kara was in a bad mood, she would draw.
She splashed a dark night with paint, where bright moon was dim.
Although there were a few stars around the moon, because of the distance, the whole picture would
make people feel a faint sadness.
When she saw her painting clearly, she was also shocked for a few seconds and immediately hid the
painting.
She changed to a piece of white paper and thought of the works she had to prepare for the match. Her
mind was in a mess and she was drawing on the white paper in frustration.
When she saw the contents of her painting again, she blinked and her eyes turned red.
It turned out that she drew James again.
She widened her eyes and glared at her painting angrily, as if she was staring at James.
He clearly had someone he loved, but why did he still do that kind of thing to her? Why did he come to
disturb her every night?
Damn it!
She sullenly drew a big turtle on his face and glared at him angrily.
Don't bully me!
"Kara."
Kara was lost for words.
Kara was so frightened that she shook her hand. With a stroke of the pen, she left a devastating stroke
in the painting. She wanted to take the painting off the board, but the more anxious she was, the more
mistakes she made.
James was not surprised when he didn't catch Kara in her room, so he went straight to the art studio.
He pushed open the door to the art studio and saw that she was trying to hide something. His lips
curled up.
It took him a few steps to her side and pulled out the painting she had hidden behind her back.
"No!"
She jumped up and wanted to take the painting away, seeing him raise the painting high to where she
could not reach at all.
She jumped up angrily and covered his eyes with her small hands.
"What is it? I can't see it?"
The more she hid it, the more interested James was. He avoided her hands and wanted to see the
painting.
He was 1. 9 meters tall, and she was not even 1. 6 meters tall. If she wanted to touch his eyes, she had
to jump up. Naturally, she could not match him.
James' mouth twitched when he saw his face covered in a picture of a tortoise.
"Kara, what is this?"
His arrogant eyes had a sense of superiority, making people unable to approach him.
Kara knew that she was in the wrong, so she lowered her head.
"Why are you angry?" James asked again. His long fingers hooked around her lower jaw, making her
look up at him.
He was too tall.
Every time she raised her head, her neck would feel sore, let alone when he forced her to raise her
head. Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
"Who, who said I am angry? I am not angry!" Kara angrily shook off his hand.
James glanced at the painting in his hand again. The more he looked at it, the more he disliked it.
"If you don't say anything, don't blame me for being impolite."
She turned her head arrogantly, wrinkled her little nose, and ignored him.
James rubbed his forehead. It was a good thing for the little girl to have a temper, but why wasn't he
happy?
He was too lazy to talk nonsense with her. He threw away the painting in his hand and used his long
arms to hold her slender waist. He lowered his head to bit her lower lip.
There was nothing that could not be resolved by a kiss!
Kara was unstable in breath from his kiss, and she was annoyed and patted his shoulder to resist.
Since he already had someone he loved, why would he kiss her?
James felt her resistance, which made him a little angry. He increased his strength, stealing all her
breath.
Just before Kara was about to suffocate, James reluctantly left her lips.
"Kara, tell me, why are you angry?"
Kara panted heavily. Her eyes were red. She wiped her lips with her sleeves and pushed him away
without saying a word. She sat on the sofa with her back to him.
James saw that she was about to start a cold war and clenched his fists in frustration.
He was not a patient person, but this little girl tempered his patience again and again.
He couldn't hit her, couldn't scold her, and couldn't do anything to her at all.
He walked to the sofa next to her and sat down. He looked down and saw that she was shedding tears
like floods.
His heart instantly ached.
"Kara..."
"James, can I call you Uncle James?" She sobbed and asked him.
James clenched his fists. This time, he was angry.
'She still wanted to only maintain the relationship between uncle and nephew with me rather than be
my woman!'
Kara did not hear him speak, looked up at his gloomy face, and knew he was angry.
She bit her pink lips and wiped away her tears, suppressing the grievance in her heart.
"Forget it. If you don't agree, I won't do so."
"Why do you call me Uncle James?" he asked coldly.
Kara blinked her big eyes, and her long eyelashes still had tears hanging.
If she called him Uncle James, she could rely on him and would not be upset just because she knew he
had someone he loved.
"I just want to." She was sobbing.
She suddenly felt that she was ridiculous,
James' eyes were cold as he stared at her face, not missing any expression on her face.
'The little girl was simple-minded. Any thoughts would be displayed on her face. What was she
deliberately suppressing at this moment?'
Suddenly, James also couldn't understand.
Looking at the tears at the corner of her eyes, he suddenly had a very bad feeling of losing control,
making him upset.
He carried her to his lap and lowered his head to kiss her eyes, licking the tears at the corners of her
eyes.
"Kara, if you want to call me like that, then call me."
"Really?"
Kara's eyes lit up and she stared at him happily, "Then are you still my Uncle James?"
"No!" "I'm just a man, not an uncle!" James gritted his teeth.
Kara pursed her lips and frowned, as if she was about to cry again.
James took a deep breath and realized that his tone of voice was so heavy that it scared her.
"Just once!"
Kara leaned lightly in his arms and listened to his steady heartbeat.
She muttered in her heart,
In the future, there would be another woman to lie in his arms and acting spoiled as she did.
Feeling that she was about to lose control of the emotions again, Kara quickly shook her head and
drove away the pictures in her brain, not daring to think about it again.
Her father had once told her that one should not be greedy.
If people were too greedy, not only would they be struck by lightning, they would also be taken away
the happiness.
James hugged the little girl and soon heard her breathing calm. He looked down and found that she
was asleep.
Clearly, she was really tired.
Holding her back to the room, he stared at her pale little face and frowned.
Who didn't want her to come to this world and poison her mother when her mother was pregnant?
Something must have happened eighteen years ago!
...
Kara was woken up by hunger. When she got up, she found herself sleeping on the bed. She thought
herself had no guts that she fell asleep while crying in a man's arms.
She reflected on herself for a few minutes and silently taught herself in her heart for a few more
minutes before washing up and going downstairs.
In the evening, the summer sun would always drag on, and the sunset glow sprinkled into the villa.
She smelled a burst of fragrance and smiled brightly. She knew that Libby had prepared something
delicious for her.
Sure enough, when she arrived at the kitchen, Libby asked her to call James. And she told Kara to
quickly eat something and go to the Hemming's.
Upon hearing that she was going to the Hemming's, she stopped smiling.
"Madam, Madam Hemming called again and asked you and Mr. James to have dinner today." Libby
was busy and did not stop talking.
"When you arrive at the Hemming's, you will definitely have no taste to eat. So Mr. James wants you to
eat something in advance."
Kara sat powerlessly on the dining table, her hands supporting her lower jaw with a sickly expression.
