Alpha's Second Chance

I woke up with a feeling of someone poking my mind, and it took me a few seconds to realize it was not a mindlink. It was the connection to Sam that was waking up, and I slowly started to feel him.

Madeleine woke up, and I quickly told her she sat up with me and connected her mind fully with mine.

It was Sam and the same rouge plus one more. They were out hunting, and I could hear them talking. But then they split up, going in each other's direction, and

I couldn't help it but smile. This was my chance to talk with him, and I was

surprised when he was faster than me.

'My king, I feel you.' He says and bows.

'Hello Sam, I trust you are well.' I answer.

'I am. I miss home, though. But I have news.' He says.

'In three days, we will go to start coming towards you. The leader is impatient and wants to fight. He plans to attack from the south this time. So it will take more time to get there.' Sam tells me.

'Okay, this is good to know. Thank you. Sam the rouge, the one that cannot speak.' I begin, but Sam interrupts.

'My king, with all respect, Leon is a good man. He does not wish to fight, but the Alpha forces your father's seal showed him a letter that permitted him to banish him. This is why he is here.' Sam tells me, and I get mad.

'Sam, tell Leon that Grace is safe if you get the chance. She is here. And I took the rank from their Alpha, and he has no power anymore.' I tell him.

'I knew you would keep an eye on me, and I thought this was important to show you. Thank you, my King, I will make sure he knows.' Sam says.

'Go, Sam, stay safe. You will be back home soon.' I tell him, and I feel his happiness.

I pull back enough for him not to feel me, but I still watch him. When they are

done hunting, they meet and go back until they disappear.

I pull back and look at Madeline. I see the fear in her eyes, and I hate that.

"I need to go find Dad, but I just will be back, and I will stay with you all night," I promise, and she nods her head.

I get out of bed and mindlink Dad to find him, and he is in his office. I run there, hurry in, and tell him everything we know. Dad is furious to learn his name and seal were used for Hudson's crimes.

"It is almost nighttime. We will get everyone together in the morning. We have about four or five days if they leave in three days. It's time enough. So let them be with their families tonight." Dad says.

"Yes, I had the same thought, plus I promised Madeleine I'd be back and stay with her for the night," I say, and Dad smiles.

"Good, thank you, son. I am proud of you, Noah. I want you to know that." Dad says as I stand up to leave.

"Thank you, Dad," I answer and leave.

When I get back to the castle, I see Madeline, Juliette, and Gina. They are talking on the couches, and t hear Madeline is happy. They look up when I come in, and Madeleine smiles at me.

"That was fast." She says, smiling.

"I told you I would be back, Juliette and Gina, all well?" I ask and smile.

"More than well, my king. Gina says.

"Please, don't call me that. We are all family. Despite the past, we are all one family now." I say, and Madeleine smiles, nodding her head.

"He is right, Gina. The past is the past. You are family now. And you will never be alone." Madeleine says, and Gina smiles.

"Thank you." She answers happily.

"Noah, Gina, and Juliette want to adopt Alina and give her a home and a family

that will be there for her," Madeleine tells me, and I smile.

"That is awesome news. Congratulations." I tell them.

"Thank you. We came asking Madeleine to put a good word in with your father. We have spent a lot of time with her. And we feel so

connected to her." Juliette says.

"Do not worry about Dad, and he will be happy to see and hear this," I assure her.

"Thank you, Noah," Juliette says first, then Gina, and I nod my head. Words are not needed right now.noveldrama

Juliette and Gina left, and Madeleine came to sit on my lap and kiss me.

"We going to war." She says, not as a question. But a statement.

"Yes. " I answer and pull her lips to mine again.

"But not tonight, tonight it is you and me. And know this, my little mate." I whisper

as I kiss her neck.

"I will make you feel pleasure, so much your throat will be sore from moaning. Your legs will feel like gek in the morning. I will mark you, over and over, everywhere. Because baby, you are mine, and mine alone." finish, and I nibble her earlobe, and a moan leaves her lips, making her smile.

"Please." She whispers as she moans, making me hard.

I hold her and stand up, and carry her into our bedroom, where I do exactly what I

told her I will all night.
