Be Your Lover Forever (Alicia)

Chapter 1566

The day was unlucky to the extreme. Initially, they could have resolved the conflict by simply carrying out a test or checking the composition of the medicine, but Raynee ate the last tablet and threw the packaging away. To prove that she did consume the medicine, she was required to have a prescription from a doctor or a consultation record. In the end, she remembered the approximate location of the packaging she threw, and thus managed to slightly ease the incident, at least by buying herself some time and a chance.

Right then, the surveillance department sent their good news. They caught sight of a figure who had exchanged the suitcase with Raynee in surveillance footage and confirmed that she might have been wronged. With a more accurate suspect, her bail procedures became simple.

After making a phone call and locating the suspect, they registered their personal information and signed the guarantee procedures before they were released from the temporary detention room. The trip was so troublesome that Wyatt had the impulse to throw a tantrum.

He had never realized that Raynee was such a fool to mess up such a simple incident.

If it weren't for the fact that she was frightened and in a mess, considering her recent unfortunate events, he wanted nothing more than to give her a tirade to vent his frustration. If it were a man, he would have thrust his foot out kicking at him.

Pulling a long face, Wyatt was so infuriated that he could barely control his wrath.

He walked out of the door and withdrew his phone. Just as Wyatt was about to check out the missed calls on his phone, a hurried figure ran over. "Wyatt, are you alright?"

When he looked up and saw that it was Seth, Wyatt shook his head and switched off his phone once more. "Why are you here?"

"Everything over there has been dealt with. I called you, but no one answered. I was afraid that something would happen, so I rushed over when I learned that you have yet returned! It's great that you're all right!" Taking a glance at the woman whose hair was messy and in a wretched state, Seth did not ask more questions. "Let me send you back!"

The three turned around. With a few steps forward, Raynee pointed to a black shadow in the crowd and shrieked.

"It's her! That woman! Wyatt, look at her figure, her posture when pulling the luggage, and the half- black glove! She changed the suitcase and added another tag! It's my suitcase..."

As she saw that the woman picked up speed in the direction of the door, Raynee hurriedly shouted, "Hey, the woman in black, it's you, stop!"

The moment his gaze landed on the figure ahead of him, the woman had long escaped before he could react. In an instant, Wyatt's face darkened. "Fool! You don't say what you should! Yet you do it when you shouldn't!"

She was alerting the enemy!

Having no time to think, Wyatt yelled, "Chase her!"

Seth was bewildered, but without determining who the target was, he knew her approximate location, so he walked around the other side. Raynee chased her from the front, the two surrounding the lady from both sides. Although the airport was not as crowded as during the day, it was packed. With the woman rendered at a loss from frustration and the distance between them closing in, Wyatt soon grabbed the woman's arm.

"What are you doing? Help! He's a molester!"

With a shout, the woman speedily turned around and threw a sidekick. Although she wore high heels, it was not a random kick judging from her movements. She aimed right at the vital parts of the body. Obviously, she must have been instructed to deal with the sudden situation!

The scene broke out in chaos. Raynee remained shouting at the side, "Watch out!"

"Security, security, the criminal is here. Come

on! Help out!"

Everything was fine if she had not shouted. Hearing her scream, almost all the onlookers hesitating around her immediately hid far away. Looking at Raynee trying to move forward, Seth wanted nothing more than to roll his eyes. Judging from the woman's selfdefense technique, Raynee was obviously no match for her, nor was Wyatt, who had received some self-protection training.

Without shifting his feet, Seth reached out and dragged Raynee back, who tried moving forward. "Miss Wagner, you're doing Wyatt a favor if you don't go over!" Raynee was indeed troublesome!

If she hadn't shouted, they wouldn't have had to make a move. With a call, their men would have stopped her at the door!

She was so foolish!

How could she make a fuss out of a trivial issue!

With how she had wanted to go forward at such a chaotic moment, wasn't she a fool?!

"Why are you pulling me? I won't go over. Please help Wyatt! Hurry up, don't give her the chance to escape!"

Raynee struggled as hard as she could. As a dancer, she was indeed strong. Just a moment of his guards down, Seth failed to hold her back. Upon raising his gaze,

he saw Wyatt being forced to a corner, while Raynee instinctively intended to pounce over.

"Don't run."

"Alas..."noveldrama

His hand stretched out to stop her, but in the end, Seth covered his face, unwilling

to witness the sight in front of him.

That woman!

She was never able to do anything right!

Sure enough, when he shifted his hands away, he saw Raynee being pushed to one side, while the

woman Wyatt had held onto kept à distance from the two. Seeing the woman rushing to the door to leap over the guardrail, Wyatt threw himself at her. The two broke into a fierce fight, and with a slight thud and a sharp pain, he held the woman's arms backhand. As soon as Wyatt lowered his gaze, he saw that the cover glass of his watch on his wrist had cracked. A minor crack extended along the center a spider weblike, covering the entire surface of the cover glass. His hand was incised with a bloody cut by an iron plate at the nearby guardrail.

The watch Waverly had gifted to him!

No!

With a loud rumble in his head, Wyatt's heart skipped a beat as if he had fallen to

the bottom of the valley!

Right then, the security guards of the

airport and the police gathered

around. Some of them were responsible for dismissing the crowd while some others came over to ask about and help out. When Wyatt's hands were emptied, the first thing he did was to check his watch. His hands' instinctive reaction was to check and wipe the cover. Along the cracked cover, a drip of blood seeped into the inner surface of the watch.

Cracked! It had cracked!

The watch Waverly had given him was

cracked!

All of a sudden, a bad gut feeling welled up in his heart. Without realizing it, Wyatt's hand in wiping and stroking against the cover glass sped up. For the first time, he was full of hope that it was all andlusion. The cover glass was fine. It was dust!

It was the scene Seth and Raynee saw upon approaching him.

"Wyatt?"

"Wyatt, are you bleeding? Are you alright?" A few steps forward, Raynee grabbed

his hand, hurriedly rummaged through her bag, and found a pack of tissues to wipe his blood!

As soon as he came to himself, Wyatt instinctively pushed her away and withdrew

his hand. "I'm fine!"

As he lowered his head, his eyes returned to the wristwatch...
