Girl Get Rid Of That Jerk (Williams and Shawn)

Chapter 124

Joshua's heart was surprisingly tender. His Adam's apple bobbed as he spoke in a hoarse voice, finally giving in. "Alright, just one kiss."noveldrama

The next moment, a warm, soft touch landed gently on his cheek. A red lipstick mark was left on his fair, handsome face, adding an unexpected charm to his look. Joshua stumbled slightly, his pupils narrowed as his heart raced. He felt like it was about to leap out of his chest. The spot where Allison had kissed him tingled. The sensation spread through his entire body like an electric shock. He was so close, and the scent of alcohol mingled with her sweet perfume filled his senses. Joshua found it hard to even catch his breath.

He was breathing heavily, emotions swirled in his eyes, and his voice grew even huskier. "Allie..." Allison, too drunk to realize how irresistible she was being, had no idea how much she was testing Joshua's resolve. He was struggling to keep his composure. Allison was taking advantage of her tipsiness and being relentless. One kiss wasn't enough; she grabbed Joshua's shirt collar and planted another on his chin. "Joshua..." Her voice had a playful, teasing tone to it. Her kisses fell like raindrops. Joshua held his breath, his heart felt like ants were crawling over it, or like feathers lightly brushing against him. It was an unbearable itch.

Brian couldn't handle the sight. He covered his eyes with one hand but still peeked through his fingers. Next to him, George glanced over with a half-smile. "If you want to watch, just do it openly. I've never seen Joshua like this; it's quite the show."

Brian was incredulous, "Is this really the Joshua we know? Honestly, for years, I've watched women try every trick to win him over, and he never budged. I thought he wasn't interested in women. But today, I've seen it all. Allison teases Joshua just a bit, and he's completely thrown."

Joshua was dizzy from Allison's kisses. His voice was raspy as he softly pleaded, "Allie, be good, stop messing around." He said that but didn't stop, and quickened his long strides to get them out of the bar. He needed to get Allison home before he lost control.

The car sped through the streets. Allison hummed and called out Joshua's name, playfully demanding kisses and hugs. Joshua's mind was in a whirl. His deep, husky voice filled the car. "Sweetheart, stop calling me like that. You're driving me crazy."

The dim light inside the car flickered as neon signs zoomed past the windows. Joshua drove while Allison snuggled into the passenger seat. Her head tilted, and a few strands of her tousled hair fell over her pretty face, hiding the drunken haze in her eyes.

When they reached her building, Joshua parked, got out, and opened the passenger door, unbuckling her seatbelt before lifting Allison into his arms. Maybe all the fuss had tired her out. Allison now rested quietly against him, breathing evenly like she was asleep.

With his nearly six-foot-three frame, Joshua carried her effortlessly. Allison was petite and slender and seemed small and delicate in his arms. Once Joshua realized she was asleep, his steps slowed, and he was careful not to jostle her awake. At the apartment door, Joshua used Allison's fingerprint to unlock it and switched on the living room light.

The spacious, bright living room was immaculate. Joshua carried her into the bedroom, gently laying her on the bed.
