Secrets Of The Neglected Wife

Chapter 751

Chapter 751:

The moment the words left her mouth, his fingers pressed into the back of her neck, a soft but firm grip that sent a chill down her spine.

“Alice, then stay with me.”

Before she could respond, he leaned in and kissed her fiercely. Driven by pure instinct, he pulled her into a deep kiss, their lips and tongues tangled together. The heat of the kiss spread like wildfire, burning away the last of his control.noveldrama

Verruckt’s lips felt icy, like those of a creature from the depths of the ocean, carrying a chill that was both damp and mysterious. He took in every breath of Allison’s, slowly, piece by piece. But it still wasn’t enough, nowhere near enough.

The alcohol-fueled hunger made him crave her, as if he had to own her. Soon, though, blood began to trickle from his lips.

“Hiss—”

Just before his mind faded into darkness, he thought he saw her expression—blank, cold, and full of deadly intent. She didn’t look anything like Alice. Instead, she looked more like that assassin. Or rather, like subject 001, who had once beaten him on a lonely island when they were young.

Their eyes were the same — sharp and cold, like ice slicing through bone.

Before long, the last bit of Verruckt’s awareness slipped away, and he sank into a deep sleep. The tension in the room eased.

Allison’s face was stern as she kicked him twice. “You’re out of your mind,” she said.

Normally, a roofie would have knocked someone out by now. But tonight, whether it was the alcohol or something else, Verruckt had completely lost control.

Though he was cruel and loved to mock others, everyone knew that Verruckt hated being touched, let alone kissed.

With that thought in mind, Allison went to the bathroom to rinse her mouth. The cold water slowly cleared away the revulsion.

She came back out and dragged Verruckt to the master bedroom. The bed was low, so she easily laid him down on it.

Allison then walked around the room, making sure there were no hidden cameras. Afterward, she took out some fingerprint-lifting tape and carefully replicated Verruckt’s fingerprints. With his prints, she’d be able to break through the security system later.

After clearing the dining table, Allison went to the second bedroom, locked the door, and tried to get some rest. But sleep wouldn’t come. She tossed and turned, so she called Kellan without much thought. His deep voice was comforting, offering a sense of safety in his words.

“Allison, did you make it?” he asked.
