When Love Breaks (Josephine)

Zayn was crazy!

It was obvious that he was just putting on an act to get her to pity him.

In any case, he did get injured. Moderate concussions should not be taken lightly.

That time, she had only suffered a mild concussion and that had already caused her to faint. What if Nadine had a matter to attend to and needed to leave? He would not have anybody by his side to help him get water and food.

If he were to trudge out of the hospital all dizzy to get some food, he might just get hurt from all the bumping around.

In the end, she caved. She picked up the phone and replied, "Where's Nadine?"

"She needs to be on set for filming."

Josephine suddenly remembered. The movie "Sky High" had already begun shooting. Nadine who had more screen time than the lead actress would naturally have already started filming.

Could it be that he really had no one to look after him?

Josephine was biting her lip, feeling conflicted, when Ethan sent her a text message: "I just got notified by the crew that when the elderly actor comes for the interview, I'll need to be at the interview with him. Will you be going as well?"

"Of course."

She replied almost immediately.

"But you don't have to worry about it. Your role as the male lead has already been set. You can sign the contract in a few days.

"On that day, you'll only have to play along for a scene and go through the motions. We're only evaluating the elderly actor's performance.

Ethan replied almost instantly as well: "Got it. Why are you still awake though?"

Josephine was feeling troubled. Since Ethan had brought it up, she decided to confide in him. "It's already so late but Zayn lost his mind and told me he was hungry and has nobody there to care about feeding him."

"I see. But isn't that easy to deal with? Just get a delivery man to send food over to him."

"Delivery man?" Josephine's eyes lit up. "Right! Why did I not think of that?

"You're a genius. I'll book someone now."

Ethan sent her a smiley emoji. "I'm guessing that you don't even have the app downloaded. Just leave it to me.

"I know his room number as well. It'll be a piece of cake."

Meanwhile, Zayn was holding his phone while thinking of ways to call Josephine over when he stared blankly at a stranger who was walking into his room.

"Who are you?"

The delivery man chuckled and said, "You have a delivery. A good-looking guy hired me to bring you your meal.

"I bought tons of food for you. See? I got you some salad, sandwiches, and pie.

"It doesn't matter whether you're craving something sweet or salty 'cause I've got it all!"

Zayn was rather confused. "A good-looking guy? Which guy?"

The delivery man glanced at the receipt and smiled. "It was an order from a guy called 'Traitors Must Die.""

Traitors Must Die...

Why the hell did it sound like he was getting scolded?

Was this Josephine's doing?

She had to take a jab at him even when it was a delivery? "Get out. You'd better get the hell out right now!

"I don't eat junk from outside. Take the trash with you, and get out!"

The delivery man was laying the food out when he heard Zayn's insults, which instantly angered him. "What? What the hell did I do?

"You can keep it and leave immediately!"

"You're really something. I was doing you a favor by coming over and helping you with your meal, and this

is how you're going to act? Forget it!

"I'm not providing this service to you anymore!"

When he was done speaking his mind, he dropped the bags of food on the table

forcefully and left right away.

Since he had received his payment and delivered the goods, the delivery was complete. The rest was not his business anymore.

Once he was out the door, he angrily made a call to Ethan and told him everything that happened. At the very end, he added, "Is he rabid?

out the moment he sees them?

"Crazy asshole!"

Ethan let out a light chuckle. "I'm sorry about that. He's got quite the temper asnoveldrama

he's just gone through a divorce.

"I've sent you 100 dollars. Please don't be offended."

"Oh, you're too kind. It's nothing. I was just being dramatic. Thanks, man!"
